I have yet to do a DD square but I have a couple in my stash (I’m a Romi Lerda fan). And those ones are beautiful!!

Thank you for this review. I have gone back and forth with this piece in my cart for a little while. I finished a Dreamer Designs piece for Drills and Chills and I had many of the same thoughts you just spoke. It was “fine,” but I just did not enjoy working on their squares. At one point I gave up on looking for same size squares and became “okay” with the gapping. It was my first piece I finished from them and I questioned whether I will like them at all. I will definitely try a round kit to see how that one works up.

Thanks Laura, this is a nice finish. I agree with you on the squares by DD. I like the round kits much better! I am currently working on "Checking His List" which is in round and it's going well. Before this one I did "Cozy Christmas Eve" (I think that's the name) and it was one of the new squares. Loads of trash and there was gapping, but I didn't hate it when done. I'm with you and plan to stick to rounds from DD if I order from them. Love your pen, it's very pretty and looks like a great shape in your hand. See you in the next video! Cheers.

Ok, I'm a tad nervous now. I purchased about 6 kits from DD on black Friday and 5 of them were squares... Apparently I may need to break out the mica powder if there were gapping issues. I've done 2 or 3 of DD kits in the past, but they were all round.. Thanks for another great video! I really appreciate your post-reviews.. they are informative and honest.

I bought a few of the new kits in squares but haven’t worked on them yet. Just by looking they look better than their old kits. I’ll have to let u know later my verdict on them.

My current WIP is a DD kit and I'm about 1/3 of the way through.... and I've run out of 7 colors already! Luckily I have a stash... it's been REALLY frustrating.
