China? China is huge, in the developed cities it might be more expensive but in rural areas it will be dirt cheap too. Probably more expensive than India since China has 5x higher GDP but not 30x more expensive like 15 rupee vs 450 rupee in Japan. India is like one of the lowest per Capita GDP countries in the world so yeahz everywhere will be more expensive. but 3-5x more expensive then India is still cheap for most of the world.

i went for my first time back on may 17, i flew into Narita airport, don't be surprised if you get stared at on the trains it happens, mask is optional, just remember to pay attention to what everyone else is doing, never talk loud, and never put your ass in someone's face on the trains,
they have a lot of markings on the floor everywhere so keep you eyes on that when in a line up,
on the escalators stand to one side, osaka is on the right, Tokyo is on the left if you can, face your ass to the wall,
I'm assuming you're going to Tokyo, and you should for your first time, the first thing you do is go to the machines, and get a suica card, its 500 yen, select english, and its pretty easy, select add money, i recommend putting 3000 yen on at a time, so insert 4000 the first time sometimes the attendants will help, some are sour it depends
for easy navigation use google maps on your phone, and click trains, it will tell you everything including the platform number, and time of arrival, make sure you have a power bank so your phone doesn't die (put it in your carry on on the plane or they will hold your bag i had to wait 3 days before i got my bag at my hotel it sucked lol)
i wish i went alone, because other people can make you regret not going alone, mainly if you want to do something your friend doesn't, because you can meet people there very easily
Shinjuku at night theres alot of hustlers for "massages" (lol i never went for one BTW lmao) Shibuya there isnt any really, its very safe there, just dont get lured
in shinjuku the club called Warp is amazing, the drinks at all clubs are heavily watered down, go to a family mart and pick up a couple of strong zeros and pre drink before going into the club, they are 200 yen, family mart also has good food and good sushi if you want a quick bite, 711 is great also
they take your photo and fingerprints upon entry to the country, so try to avoid conflict as much as possible
      have fun

It’s extremely safe, and you can walk at 2 am in any part and won’t ever have any problems. Lot of 24/7 stores like 711 so you can be awake at degen hours and be fine.
The only problem is communication, the population is very bad at English, so make sure you have a phone and a translator app.

They are also extremely racist against other races, and dark skinned people. there is no space to live in Japan. The biggest place you could buy is a small little hut with three rooms that don’t actually have walls. The walls are just made of bamboo paper. And you live with family forever.. meaning you have s*x and everyone else can hear.

Bro owns a decent camera and some gear, he's not poor. But spending on overpriced food while traveling when you can get the same for a fraction of the price at home is just being sensible with your money. I don't really go visit other countries to try my own cuisine unless they do their own takes on it (Japanese curry literally) but I would splurge on it if I was living in that country for an extended period of time and I was craving the taste of home. I get where this guy is coming from.

~ It’s so cool to hear Takashii’s English accent/delivery evolve in (somewhat) real time, as we follow his journey.
    He’s become quite the journalist.

It's definitely interesting seeing different perspectives on travelling a place when coming from different places. As a Canadian I was so pleased by the food prices in Japan but I can definitely see how compared to Indian food prices it's probably shockingly expensive

I mean, when you're eating food from abroad it usually needs the ingredients imported and prepared so the cost makes sense. naturally it would be cheaper in the home country it's from

I would say it's economies of scale benefit us Indians have ...the samosa walas(shopkeeper who sells only samosas and alike things) have atleast 300 customers daily ..whereas in countries where this is just one of the dishes in the menu the per samosa cost would be more...

It’s actually that for them samosa might be like a foreign snack so it is costly . And if u see the same way the traditional japan snack there might be cheap and in india it will be costly.
