I absolutely love this! I’ve always wondered how in the hell someone could pull off the blades as fluidly as kratos. And being able to fight like him would be extremely hard! Chained weapons in martial arts are some of the hardest weapons to learn! And those weapons are pretty light! If you were to master the blades of chaos you’d probably have to do it without the chains... even though that doesn’t make sense because the chains are part of the weapon... idk! That’s what make them so fascinating! You’d get tired quick considering you’re using a lot of upper body to use them and spinning around constantly. Always fun to see people giving it a try though!
as I understand it he has god strength so it's just like whirling a rope around with a tennis ball attached, plus if he cuts himself pulling the blades back he can heal from it
Seeing the difficulty in which you do this my friend, it made me realize... it is an impractical weapon for a human. Besides, you made them with earthly materials. However, what i noticed here is that you managed to, maneuver wise, pull it off. Slice a target while using the blade as a flail, throwing the blade straight at a target... you can't do it the same way Kratos can, but... the movements are humanly possible. If they have practice (years of it), proper weapon... it is doable. If performed by a God, it's more than doable. It'll be LETHAL!🤩

Really.juat comes to show how strong Kratos is and can only imagine how much speed and force he spins those blades. Magic aside, gotta respect how proficient he always was, and proves that a normal human could never use the Blades of Chaos to their full potential
Pro tip - connect the tops of the chain gauntlets together with a short length (less than your outstretched arms width, elbow to elbow) of chain behind your back. The result would be able to have the behind the back chain remain lose when swinging a single chain, but the chain would become taut when swinging both swords to translate the centrifugal force around the back instead of relying on just arm strength to hold the pulling forces. Wrap leather around the chain that is held in your hands to prevent further damage.
Dude you did a great job. Really like the series. He has always been a favorite character for me and I have been trying to make my body look like his so i can make a full working cosplay.
Considering they're not just for show and they're actually real blades I'm sure sword/HEMA youtubers would kill to try out those swords This is just way too fucking amazing
Try and wrap the chains almost entirely around your arm and grip a bite of it with the handle, that way when you let got of the handle, it'll straighten the bite out to space the blade from your hand and you guide the chain out from your hand while holding it. This is just to do a rapid deployment chain lash. But you might want to practice raising those swords above your head. Because you might not want to half ass it with those drag fins, it might catch when its too low.
