I have been knitting and crocheting for almost 50 years and have to say that you my dear young man are so inspiring. It is amazing to see such an amazingly talented and creative young man take up a hobby that people only see as an old woman hobby. So thank you Henri you are amazing. 🤗
Hi maam, may i know how to wash crochet pillow like this, im still a beginner and it confuses me 😅
@@christinanitathe only way to wash it is to take the stuffing out, wash it and re stuff it which would be a laborious process. I suppose you could just hand wash the whole thing but you would have to have a washable stuffing and it would take ages to dry.
If I was going to make one I’d make a lining, sew up two pieces of fabric (leaving one side open)that either blend with your colour scheme or if you want something more interesting have a bright colour that you will see thru the holes and make it a feature. Then put the stuffing into the bag and sew up the open side. Then put that into the crocheted cover. Then if you need to wash it you only have to undo the side you sewed up take of the crocheted cover and off you go. However I would think he isn’t planning on any washing. Being a floor pillow it will get dirty but perhaps he has a very clean floor and likes to sweep and vacuum. Lol. Hope this helps.

I have put the white stuffing into a white pillowcase and sewed it shut so the stuffing wouldn't come out. Just a fyi if it gives you a problem. 🙏✌️❤️. Prayers, peace and love to you and yours.

I’m making it rn but my granny squares look kind of smaller than yours, I don’t know why. I’m using a 15mm hook and the same type of yarn ur using
same... can you tell me please, how your pillow turned out? did it work out?
@@misnflwr I think I’ve figured it out, although I have the same yarn type, the thickness is different. Still not done but some of the squares I made turned out to be thin, and some turned out normal. Not as big as his but, its a good size.
I recommend checking the thickness of the t shirt yarn!, idk if it will help, but that’s all I know haha. Sorry
