    I am working on my floor poof and am using a Jumbo 6 Yarn Bee Uber Luxe yarn. It’s not quite as bulky as the yarn you’re using. Can I add a few additional rows before decreasing! Wondering the diameter of your poof before you start to decrease. Love this video! Thank you!

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Peggy! This is a great idea. I think you will like the results of the poof using the size 6 weight yarn. The stitches will be tighter with smaller holes. Don't worry about adding more rounds unless you find your pillow insert is too big to fit. I'm so excited for you to make this floor poof! I hope you have fun and really like it. Let me know if you have any questions as you go. 😊

    This is gorgeous and exactly what i am looking for to replace my Ikea sandared pouffe cover that tore. That pillow is 28” wide by 18” high. Any suggestions on how to modify your pattern for that difference?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  7 месяцев назад

      Hi Nicole! Yes, I would work increase rounds until you are the width you need. Then work regular rounds with one stitch per stitch space to work the height of the project as tall as you want it to be, then close by working the increase rounds in reverse with decrease rounds. You can also play with how thick the yarn is or the size of the crochet hook to make your stitches tighter and more structured. I hope this helps! HAVE FUN!! 😊❤️🧶

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  6 месяцев назад

      Hi Peggy! It's such a bummer when yarn get's discontinued. Just look for a size 7 Jumbo yarn that is 100% acrylic so it's easier to clean if you need to AND is both a color and texture you like. I have found that I like a lot of the Jumbo yarns at Hobby Lobby, Premieryarns.com, and Herrschners. If you wanted a place to start. Hope this helps! 😊❤️🧶

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад

      Hi Jenn! It’s such a bummer when this happens. One way I find yarn substitutions is a website called yarnsub.com. Give it a look and see if it helps you. Otherwise, just look for a size 7 Jumbo yarn that you might find comfy cozy for a floor poof. 😊❤️🧶

    • @CrochetWithTiffany

      Hi Sarah! Honestly, feel free to use any size 7 Jumbo yarn with a texture you think would work well. Try to find a yarn that is 100% Acrylic if you can. Hobby Lobby has some great options and and so does Herrschners.com. I hope this helps!

    Hi Tiffany love your work. I have a problem and wonder would you be able to help me. I bought everything to make this cushion, well with my arthritis I can't do it needle any yarn and needle too big. I'm determined to make this and ordered a 6 weight yarn. Can you possibly give me an idea how many stitches in the magic circle? Thank you so very much if you can help me.

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  10 месяцев назад

      I completely understand the need to make adjustments with the size yarn and hook. I think you will love this cushion worked with the size 6 weight yarn! Start the same way we started in the original pattern. Work increase rows until you have reached the width of the pillow. Then work one stitch per stitch space to work upward and cover the thickness of the pillow. End by making decrease rounds until you have closed the top. I hope this helps! 😊❤️🧶

      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад

      Oh heck ya girl! Make this floor poof as big as you want! You can use stuffed animal stuffing but if you do I would try to make the stitches as tight or close as you can so the stuffing doesn’t come out or show too much. 😊❤️🧶

      Hi Chante! It is very possible to crochet this by hand since the yarn is so thick. You will just want to be careful not to make your stitches too loose or the cover for around the pillow will be too drapey. 😊❤️🧶
