This is why I simply adore Côte d'Azur... Nice, Monaco, Cannes, are absolutely beautiful, but these villages are truly delightful 🙂 thanks for another GREAT video!!
I was in the South of France in July and my heart is still there. Èze Village is a must-see, but I have to add Castellane and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. They are like something out of a storybook. Absolutely beautiful! I need to go back…too many places to see for just a week.
@@NiniEJ 👍 We didn’t include Moustiers-Sainte-Marie because we wanted to limit our choice to the Côte d’Azur Departments (Var & Alpes-Maritimes). Awesome place though!!Castellane (dept. Alpes-de-Haute-Provence like Moustiers) wouldn’t quite have made it on our list, though absolutely worth visiting too 🤩… as we always try to stress: most of these small villages in the South of France are just absolutely sweet, you can’t go wrong
🤩😍🤩 Ahhh, sorry,it's not a pick up list. It's a Full to do list! All the places are fantastic. What a charm, intimacy and beauty! You did an incredible job by pointing travel and local details and suggestions. Well done 👍🏻 I think August is a skip. But as you said, all year round each of those locations are superb. You both look amazing and I love seeing your smiles when strolling the streets, enjoying stunning views, or yummy and delicious food. Those hill villages are like hidden gems. Thanks dear ladies for the great video. There is a lot to choose from and one can't fail with any of the options! Have a great time and stay hydrated under the beautiful 🌞 of the South 😎 🤍✨️
Excellent choices! Seconding Èze, Gourdon, SPdV, TsL, all just lovely. Gorges du Verdon is a MUST. Would add Beaulieu sur Mer and Port Grimaud as well. Happy to see out of the way places I haven’t seen yet on this list. Can’t wait to try them on my next visit! Thank you 🌞
🤩 Great, happy you liked our choices! There are so many more places that are similarly pretty: Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Gorbio, Sainte-Agnes in the East, Biot, Valbonne, Mougins, Saint-Cézaire, or, over in the Var department: Grimaud, Ramatuelle, La Garde-Freinet,… to name just a few, honestly, there are endless options. But anyways: we picked a combination of commonly acclaimed places (that we do love as well!) and personal highlights 😅
The little drawing of the map/departements is well done ! I plan to go à la côte d'Azur l'année prochaine, maaybe near Aiguebelle where I already went when a kid. Anyway, great vids, thanks
Sounds cool, that’s next to Le Lavandou (or even part of Le Lavandou), isn’t it? Our preferred area for going to the beach 👌 (a bit far from where we live just for the day (though doable), so we try to spend at least a long weekend every year)
@rivierago oh nice, u r lucky ! I went in villa a bit high with a beautiful view on les Îles du Levant, invited by friends one week! It s a precious memory !
Love those villages. We'll be in Nice next month. Do you know if US driver's license is ok to drive in France? We want to rent a car to go to these villages
Oh, never thought about this question … we would assume it’s not a problem (us Europeans easily rent cars in the US, so it should be the same vice versa), but let us double-check!
@@jkd246 here‘s some official info: www.france.fr/en/article/renting-car-and-driving-france/#renting-a-car-in-france-2 Other sources mention an international driver’s licence (idl) while this one doesn’t… 🤔
Hi. Renting a car with US driving license is not a problem, but most of the agencies will ask for international driving license . Visit you local AAA, bring a photo, get in done in 5 minutes
It must be okay as my son and I were in France in a rental car and he drove-my son did and we’re from WA state. I never gave it much thought myself. I just had fun seeing everything.
❤️I loved…I would like live in Cote d azur!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
