    The 1966 cadillac had the prettiest front end of any car around in my opinion! That light blue looks so good on this. I also love the rear end of this year cadillac the best. The 68 is also my all time favorite one as well. The 68 cadillac has the bigger 472 engine with around 390 horsepower! My dad once had a 68 cadillac but it needed a complete restoration so he sold it for $1000.

      These ol' luxury barges are expensive to restore, so your Dad may have made a good decision. Many agree with you, Ryan!!! Cadillac had a decade of beautiful designs in the '60's. Thanks for watching and commenting. Please check out my other videos: ruclips.net/video/BfTlt8mmasc/видео.html

    Beautiful blue Caddy convertible! My grandfather had a 65 and 67 around the mid to late 60's. They were both 4 door Sedan DeVilles. One summer at the Jersey shore A&P parking lot a gentleman who worked on the assembly line commented to him that they were well made cars back then! Even though my grandfather lived at the shore in Barnegat Light he had a new garage built in 1966, and the nasty salt air caused a lot of rust after several years of exposure! But they were great highway cruisers and thirsty for lots of leaded premium fuel!

    Restore the ride height via proper, 'stock' spring ---- get rid of the "air ride" and 'bags' . . . .

    • @carshowreporter
      @carshowreporter  2 года назад

      Ahhh, 34PackardPhaeton, each to their own. I agree with you, I like as original, but Dave has brought more awareness to the beautiful Cadillacs of the '60's to more people. The more people we interest, the better the hobby. When you take your Packard to events outside of AACA and the Packard club, how many people stop to admire it, yet they never heard of the grand marque? You are enlightening new enthusiasts!! This is how we will keep our pride and joys on the road instead of becoming a static piece of art in a museum.
