Thank you my brother…the whole teaching was wrapped in humility and that is one of our greatest resources as we step out In faith to do anything God calls us to do…which even includes washing the dishes for someone or running an errand or cleaning toilets for a church congregation (one of the first assignments God gave me )…etc I was truly blessed!!!!

We met at a restaurant, ate together at 6 pm and we actually would close down the restaurant at times! We became a big family. And then a few would drop out and we would pick up a few more. We recently had two of our friends drop out after many years. It truly is an amazing experience.
How strange it seems to me to find myself in this same position after spending over 40 years in regular church settings. I've been home group churching for about 2 1/2 years now. Recently it seems that we're receiving more revelation on this subject. We are a small group of 4 people right now. People are beginning to blossom. God Bless brother.

My husband and I are starting a group and our first meeting is in 2 weeks and I'd been feeling so unprepared (like I need to know the whole bible with deep revelation first 😬) but I know this is what God wants us to do...I have to always remember how beautifully God moves when we step out in faith...
This has helped. I live in a place where it really is too small to host, and my husband isn't a believer. However, my church struggles with biblical illiteracy and I feel drawn to begin a read-through-the-bible-in-a-year group on Facebook. I'm actually more adept as a writer anyway, so discussing things in the comments might be what God planned when He gifted me with literal abilities. I still hope that someday when (I just have faith that he will) my husband is saved that we can host with cookies and a candle going at home too, but this seems needed as well. We can do daily small discussions, and a weekly prayer request post.
