you know you could just take the screen off and then skip to 14:25 and replace the new screen. Not taking each part of the phone off and then replace it back. That crap was in the video to make the video longer, but replacing a screen can take less than 7 min for the first time trying.

I found this video to be highly informative. There is one thing that was not addressed. On the mid-frame, there appear to be tiny circuit boards on the right and left of the side of the mid-frame. There appear to be two tiny circuit boards on one side and another one on the opposite side of the frame. Can you tell me what those three tiny boards accomplish? All three have what appears to be a spring contact.
Ah that's a shame. Lucky I asked, as I was about to buy a glass screen. A shame the concept of replacing the glass wouldn't be the same as the S4, as I have done this many times without the need for special equipment. Thanks for replying. :)
Juhd Hare Its too difficult for amateurs to do a glass replacement only. To many tools and power tools needed for a glass only replacement. 95% of failure (Breaking the lcd) for amateurs, you need a pro.

Hello, my s6 edge plus has a problem. The bottom of the touchscreen is unresponsive. Tried a factory reset but didn't work. The glass is fine, no damage whatsoever. Never dropped the device. My question is do I need to replace the all touchscreen with lcd and digitizer?

No the red adhesive is not installed. This is the display assembly replacement not a glass only. Thanks for watching.

I heard if you just replace the glass the quality is shit for some reason.
