This was great! The only part I struggled with was getting the back off the phone. The rest was cake. You did a very good job of explaining what to do. thanks!
This is a great video and repair universe has supplied the parts I needed to fix three very expensive phones now. I did find that the rear cover was much harder to remove than the video showed. There was quite a bit of adhesive tape under the cover. I was able to remove the LCD assembly without removing the mother board, I just lifted the board enough to get cable and connector out and back in. Phones back together and working great ! no more smashed screen.
I guess im asking randomly but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me

My Friend i have tried to replace the glass i ended up damaging the lcd, so i went to and i purchased new lcd, when i plug it in it worked for few mins, then i try to assemble it together , and i ended up damaging it again. i purchased new LCD when i plugged it in , i got horizontal lines across the screen. so i email the selled and i returned it, because i thought the lcd was damaged. I got new one today and still got the same problem. Can you tell what could have happened. there is not heat applied to the mother board. Could it be the connector pins are damaged. Please let me how much will this cost to fix by repair service. thanks a lot man
Having trouble snapping the top part of the screen in place. i did everything but now im at the part where i put the screen back inside of the metal sides. It will not snap in and im scared if i put anymore pressure it will crack the screen.
@@Repairsuniverseusa Hello i want to ask you that i dropped my s6 edge from my hand and got damaged on the front the screen is working fine fluid there is no spots or line whatsoever and the touch is fluid to so should i only change the screen or the whole panel and if i only change the screen will it effect the display and touch of the mobile plz let me know your opinion

Why remove the mother board and battery? They are not connected to the LCD. Where do you get the adhesive tape?

As long as you purchase the screen assembly without the frame, it should be compatible.
