I've been fascinated by this relationship ever since CATWS and really wanted to explore how they've grown, but together and separately, throughout their journey. This is the longest video I've ever made and I still feel like there's so much left that I didn't get to address. Such a shame that the writers couldn't decide on a consistent arc for either of them and threw them at different people every other movie instead of developing the relationships and arcs that had the most potential. Like I'm not even mad that they didn't end up together (romantically), that would've been fine, but where they ended was just... ugh. Still the character development we did get was delighting and they were one of the best aspects of the MCU. I shall miss them.

When I started watching the Avengers movies, these two never crossed my mind as a romantic pair. I was even shipping Steve with Maria Hill, but when I saw The Winter Soldier...everything changed. Woah, the chemistry between them, the looks, how they learned to trust each other and support each other. Plus, the chemistry between Evans and Johansson is priceless. I was rooting for them to end up together 💔 They stood by each other’s side till the end of the line ❤️One of the most beautiful Romanogers videos I’ve seen!
You know I am not usually invested in the romance of the Marvel universe but gosh these two got me into their story till the last moment. Silly of me, I thought there was still a chance in the endgame but nope. One died and the other just time travelled.
Anyways, I liked this video a lot. Made me realize how truly invested I was; now there's a new beginning
4:05 Natasha's face when she realizes they couldn't bring everyone back is desvastating.
That moment when Steve says he's home and it cuts to Natasha is exactly why his ending in Endgame is bullshit. I loved Steve and Peggy when they had their time together, but she moved on, and he seemed to have moved on too. "Someone else came out." Natasha was Steve's home and you can't tell me she didn't feel the same about him. Anyway, before I go on a rant, this video was perfect. I think it sums up their relationship and characters perfectly and how being around each other helped them grow as people.
the goal of this ending was that Steve have been selfless all is life, he choose the other before him and at the end he did a selfish choice, he choose him before and tony did the opposite. And when Natsha died nothing held him back anymore so I understand this ending
It makes even less sense if you think about the timelines. Steve knew Peggy for like 2 years, and during that time he was mostly busy with the war, but at the end of Endgame he had been in the 21st century for about 10 years. He barely knew Peggy in comparison to all the people he built relationships with in the 21st century. It makes no sense for him to go back to her.
I think maybe just maybe if nat didn’t die and both of them lived in the end, I think they would be together. Maybe

Honestly, such an unexpected duo in the MCU. Seeing how these two have grown together and learned to support one another, even when there were rifts between them (Civil War). And you can really feel Steve's pain in Endgame, when she died. It's rare that we can find someone in life that mirrors the same level of support and compassion as Steve and Nat. I'm fortunate to have someone like that in my life.

I know this isn’t the topic of this vid, but I’d like to share just how impressed I am with Jeremy Renner's performance when Clint & Natasha are hanging there. He’s a man who grief has broken, but he always knew his best friend was out there, alive. In that moment he’s losing EVERYTHING if he lets her go. There’s no guarantee that her sacrifice will ensure the return of his family.
For her, the math is simple, she’s willing to die just for the CHANCE she can give Clint his family back and bring everyone back. She is at peace because this moment is where she’s been trying to get to for the past 5 years (as she said) but he is in agony because she is all he has left of the man he was. It’s so beautifully done by both Scarlett & Jeremy.
Tragic 😭 they BOTH deserved to be happy.

This is the most beautiful edit I've ever seen! Music in the background and their lines from movies and high quality make this as a masterpiece of art, really... I would send this to all my friends because they need to see this.
oh another theory that I heard and rlly liked. (it disregards that scene with peggy at the end of endgame) but basically after steve went back and returned the stones instead of living the rest of his days with peggy he spends them with nat and they grow old together and once she dies cap comes back to meet bucky and sam. this is why when sam asks steve if he wants to tell him abt her steve says that he won’t cuz that ending was jus their happy little secret.
nooooo :( but yes you did so wonderful with this edit. This was my favorite pairing for forever. I wanted nothing more than a good arc for them whether plantonic or not but I was let down, hard. I really wish more than anything the that tws arc was kept but they had to add bruce in and then stripe away the chemistry between them only to wrap it up with clintasha. This video reminded me how much I loved them and how they deserved better. Somehow this made me feel more for Natasha's death more than it actually happening. The way they killed her felt rushed and unjust.
Reasons why Natasha Romanoff deserved a better ending.
Natasha Romanoff was one of the, if not, the best character of the MCU. The way marvel ended her character arc was dishonorable. Nat has been there since Iron Man 2. She helped Tony through everything. Then she moved on to Steve, and helped Steve with everything. Then Clint. Then Bruce. She doesn’t have a single bad bone in her body. It was obvious she loved Clint, but she accepted the fact that he was married and had kids. Natasha gave everything for the people she loved. She was everything. She IS everything. That fighting scene with her and Happy in Iron Man 2? Definition of badass. She sacrificed everything. She didn’t have a family. No kids. No love. In those 11 years, Marvel did her REAL dirty. Without her, they would have never defeated Thanos. And that powerful woman scene during the Battle of Earth in Endgame? Incomplete without my Natasha. When she was all alone during those 5 years when the Avengers had broken up, she was miserable. And when they got back together to save the world, you could see the joy on her face, smiling next to Clint. She was so excited to do what she loved doing. Saving the world, at whatever cost. She deserved everything, yet she never got it. Her death was heroic, yet it was also a tragedy. And that is why Natasha Romanoff will always be a legacy

Ok seriously this is a dang masterpiece and I cannot express enough how much this killed me. The part that really hit me hard was 3:19-3:36. Those quotes all fit together so flawlessly. You are so talented and this video is definitely going into my favorites! Thank you!!!!

Hauntingly beautiful tribute. Their friendship deserved better. This is amazing, thank you for putting this together. It's a soothing companion to all the fix-it fanfiction I've been reading to wash the bitterness that Endgame left me with lol. It truly captures their essence and the music is so fitting (Epic Score?)

u know it breaks my heart that these two didn’t get the ending they deserved. even tho we will never actually see that in my heart they will forever be together. if I understand why they had to kill nat from a character arc standpoint cuz they were trying to highlight jus how much she has grown and how she can finally be at peace with her past and forgive herself. tho I agree with the ppl that say steve and peggy didn’t have as much chemistry I think the idea was that Steve for once to choose himself and he jus wanted to go back and have his happy ending frozen in time and safe.

They ruined the story line with that end , not only for these two but a lot of other things didn't make sense as time travel , the different realities . It's like they cancelled every thing these people went through .

They supposedly continue their friendship/romance relationship after CA: The Winter Soldier but then, the writers went to the wrong way. It's so sad they didn't end up together in Endgame.😔

Gamora came back because shes the 2014 Gamora . She isn't dead yet. She hasn't even met the members of guardians of galaxy yet . Plus in the end of endgame we can see Quinn ( starlord ) looking for Gamora but not being able to find her so we're not really sure if the 2014 version survived .
Gamora, and she didn’t come back technically it’s another version of her...but if you mean the character then black widow is also coming back in a solo movie.
Amazing edit!! I've shipped these two since Captain America Wintersoldier and I was hopingto get something in Infinity War. After they both survived the snap I was certain, but the Russo's proofed me otherwise. Always loved tese two together. They had a chemistry like nobody else in the MCU
