I can’t get over this. 😭 While everybody was sad after Natasha’s death, it was Steve who was sitting quietly with tears rolling down his cheek. He lost somebody who always stood by his side. 😔
Natasha never left Steve’s side. It was obvious she loved him. But it seemed that she knew that steve would be happier without her. You let go of the ones you love most. Nat and Steve even if it was never brought open to the public, there was definitely something behind all of it. They had a connection like to other in the MCU and I truly believe that if they had kept her alive maybe just maybe their could have been a chance. Or if they let steve stay in the future. They where meant for eachother. Opposites what balanced eachother out and loved eachother endlessly. It sad honestly that marvel took such an amazing love story and killed it. Steve was absolutely perfect for Natasha. She needed someone in her life that would take care of her and fight all of her demons like Steve did. I do know she died a death for the world and honestly was more of a hero than tony. She died sacrificing herself and steve knows that. I truly believe he would never forgive Natasha. Yeah I agree like in their world Steve and Nat would have gone together but in terms of making a good movie it doesn’t make sense ... also We got cap fighting cap and Tony and cap and Steve seeing Peggy. cap and Nat wouldn’t make sense because cap would die and then we wouldn’t get the rest of the movie with cap - assemble, Thor’s hammer, Tony dying, Sam Bucky the shield etc
One of the most heartbreaking scenes was not only when she sacrificed herself, but the scene when she was talking to Okoye, Rocket, Capt. Marvel, and War Machine, she sat and broke down to tears. The Avengers was her family, flaws and all. At that moment, I had a gut feeling and a heavy stomach that something might happened to her but I was denial at that time. When they were going to get the stones back, my stomach got heavier. My heart sanked when they were tasked to get the Soul Stone. And then, it happened. My heart was shattered, and it still is. She was my favorite Avenger. Going on through Phase 4 with the thought that she is dead feels like a kid flying a kite with no thread. Yeah, she still has her standalone movie and all I have to do is to enjoy it to the fullest. I miss you, Nat. Please know that you won. You were a part of that success.
i still can't watch the scene without sobbing, and then i just feel pain, i want to scream because she was such an angel. her smile could cure cancer, she was perfect in every way. she never had an easy life, she was molded into the assassin they wanted her to be, but she found a family, a new mission. she died for the whole world, she was a unsung hero. tony stark got murals and a funeral and she got nothing. goodbye Nat. love you 3000 🖤❤️
They have been through so many things together and they always manage to stay by each other’s sides. Which is why I ship them so much and the way they look at each other makes my heart melt. Black widow was always there for Steve, weather it was when Peggy died or after civil war she still managed to be right there with him. And Steve does the same. I will never stop shipping them❤️
I wish they sent someone else to get the soul stone and sent Nat and Clint to another place so they would be alive together, because I hate the fact that Nat is dead, but Clint didn't deserve to die too. Steve did not marry Peggy, because it would change her future, in which she marries another man and they have children (after Steve disappeared in 1945). He returned to her to dance, since this was his promise.. Cap and Natasha were ready to go home (in the present) but they had only one Pim particle left, so they decided to stay in the past and promised each other to return only when one of them dies. Years passed, they got married and lived life together, and when Natasha died, Steve returned to say that everything was in order. He lived his happy life. When Sam asked to tell about his wife, he refused, because in fact it was Natasha. That’s it. Basically, there are many thoughts about the soul stone and the idea that the sacrifice for it is irreversible but there is an interview with the writers where they literally say “you bring her back, you lose your stone”. I don’t even know what to believe, to be honest.

My Heart had an Earthquake when I saw those tears roll down from the eyes of Steve ❤ If just say if they didn't sent Nat and Clint to get the Soul Stone or sent Nat with Steve then may be Nat would have survived bcaz Steve would never let Nat sacrifice, and would have definitely found any other way or something. It will always confuse me that the Russo’s were the ones who directed the captain America movies and built this connection between Natasha and Steve, yet the Russo’s also wasted this beautiful potential in endgame. Damn man, this is deep. They really loved each other even tho they never admitted it or got together, but you can always tell because the connection between those two was always there, they just kept it hidden. This edit is so beautiful. It's been a month and I still cried. No one ever talks about the fact that Nat changed from team Tony to team Cap. This two deserved to be together, they always were side by side. Nat deserved better, they didn't even give her a funeral and that makes me angry. I'll never get over her death.

Actually when I saw the scene I feel very touched of how much Cap care for her. We only see Steve (the stoic Steve who always keep his emotion away from other people) cried 3 times in his life through 7 movies, and that means he really loves that person (Bucky, Peggy and now Nat)

I've never seen such an amazing chemistry in a movie before. I always loved both of these characters and after Captain America: Wintersolider I started loving the Romanogers idea. I really hate Marvel for killing Natasha. They had an all women scene in Endgame but without Nat.
