    I didn't mind scrubs but I have a cricut now so I'm making my shirts with my logo in gold and I'll just wear black green or grey leggings or biker shorts for summer I'll also have an apron on.

    Hey Shavon how are you? I hope this finds you well.
    I have a few questions…
    How to price for rent, insurance, & supplies ? Also do you recommend finding a niche to keep costs down?
    How to scale your business, without losing clients once gaining experience?
    How often should I raise the price to reach my goal?
    I know most people charge for experience so should I offer discounts until I’ve gotten some? Or will that affect my brand long term?
    I know this is a lot but I really want to plan my strategies now.

    • @ShavonMichelle
      @ShavonMichelle  2 года назад +4

      Hiiii!! Ok so i will be doing a video on how to scale and keep clients so stay tuned for that, as for your other questions..
      Yes starting out with a niche service is smart and cost effective until you make enough to add more services. Alot of estheticians do this, ive done it as well.
      You can raise prices based on experience, absolutely. 💕
      You can offer new client discounts to get them in!! And referral discounts so if they bring a friend or tell a relative offer a discount to both

    Thank you for this video. I'm planning on finding a new location for my business but I'm in a stage where I'm literally starting over because I feel like I started my business on the wrong foot 3years ago I had to return the key and start working from home 😢 but this year I make the decision to go back and make it right because skin care is my nation and i know this is great industry im ready to thrive 😅 I do need to make sure that I have a business plan which I didn't really have the first time now that I make my mistakes and i know better so I will for sure booked, busy and stay in business. My goal is to open six days a week 6 hours Tuesday - Thursday 8 hrs Friday -Satur and 5hrs Sund. I want to have 3 clients a day at $125 so, when you do the math you can see where I stand. If you get a chance to read this please let me know what you think. any advice will be appreciated. I'm located in Florida Boynton area.

    so this may sound dumb but when you (say it cost 20$) for supplies are you literally adding up the total price of each individual product cost? like your paid $10 for your lash tray used, and 10$ for the glue you used?

    How would I know what services and types of facials to offer?
    As you stated in another video the schools just teach the basics. How do we learn the more advanced things to offer?

    • @ShavonMichelle
      @ShavonMichelle  2 года назад +1

      So try to see whats popular in your area OR whats missing in your area that you think ppl will be interested in and offer that service and see how well it does. As far as learning these specific service i highly encourage taking outside school trainings and courses from other licensed professionals. That is how we all learned the specifics, i offer trainings if interested, or find someone local. 💚 hope this helps
