I have been in business for a while but the Esthetician side is new to me. We have a google listing, FB page, website, QR (I actually have a better idea than you suggested if you are interested...and no I am not selling anything), we have done groupon. We are not great at Instagram, we don't post videos or reels. I know we need to do this. I am about to add estheticians and really like all of your suggestions. I graduated and got my cosmetologist license in 2020. However now I would like to work in a spa as an esthetician (I’ve been a hairstylist since 2020) but my love is skin and skincare. I sell skincare products to basically my friends. I would like to offer professional services for skin in 2023-2024. Question: how do you determine who your target audience is? Ideal client? I honestly want to help everyone but I know that’s impossible. Do you have any suggestions on what questions I should ask myself to determine who would be my targeted audience?

I wish you luck on your journey in skincare, im honestly always drawn back to it i love it😩🥰 My quick tip with knowing and finding your target audience would first slightly depend on the area you choose to work in. What would the normal client look like lifestyle wise in your actual area? Start there and build target audience from there.

However I'm debating to open my own suite (no clients) and build from there but I'm afraid the cost..but if I don't rent a suite I don't own how to attract clients without having the essentials.. how do you proceed without making an financial mistakes. We all know we need to take risks but how far should I take it?what's your recommendation?
Honestly the only answer or suggestion i can say to this is plan things out step by step, make a list of what you need and what you have to do and go slowly accomplishing those things according to your budget. So for example start off small , maybe focus on one service , buying the material for that and asking for models use those pics to promote promote promote to keep reeling in clientele . Then when you make a profit add more things to your business or invest in a suite and better location. Goodluck🤎🤎
i’ve got a question.. if i go to college for a business degree, would it be better to have an associates or something higher if i plan to have my own spa/salon or solo esthi place in the future?
Literally no vids about electrologist so I’ll watch yours and just apply it to me because the steps to opening my own location will be pretty much the same, correct?
So an electrologist is basically a medical esthetician, so yea this applies to that!! Only difference is making sure you know which services you can and cant perform without a medical director present and your state laws.

Dont doubt yourself !! You have to try and be dedicated and always working on ways to improve your business and traffic. You can do this ! And you are at the perfect age to come up with a plan

Facebook ads are good but also join a ton of Facebook groups that relates to your target audience and this helps as well💕
