I remember my parents taking us to this hotel when I was a child, and we had a great time; we stayed in a room with an ocean view, and we only ate there twice-the other times being at other restaurants in Cancun. However, I do remember them complaining about the Italian food and buffet because it felt like a cafeteria. The best parts of the hotel are the pools, beach, and location. Your review is dubious. It seems like you got upset because you didn't get an upgrade room with an ocean view. This is not the best hotel in Cancun; for that, you would have to pay much more, but the pricing is reasonable.
That's a tough one, as it's hard to find really good food at the all-inclusives, and then adding on family friendly makes it a tough combo to find. My top pick would be the Marriott All-Inclusive IF their kids waterpark and camp have opened. I was there in May and the kids facilities weren't opened yet, but they were close to being opened. It re-opened this year after an extensive renovation. My second pick would be either the Grand Fiesta Americana or the Hilton All-Inclusive (in Puerto Morealis). Both are good options for kids, but the food quality is lower.
For a foodie, I would go to Secrets Playa Blanca, recently opened and fully operational. This is adults only. Places that are family friendly generally have a lower food quality. The other great place for food, but still in soft opening, Is AVA. I was at AVA 2 weeks ago, and they are maybe 1/3 functional so far. But the part that is functional has great food. And they are family friendly. However, they don't have a real beach and they haven't started their entertainment in the evening yet.
I really like it. I stayed there last month and it is a beautiful hotel. Newly opened, and the rooms are great. They have a whole section with an area for kids plus a kids club. Great pools. You would have to be happy with the fact that there really isn't a great beach, and the food is only ok. Better than a lot of chains, but really not foodie quality. I got such a great rate there that the food quality was fine for me. I would book this Hilton rather than the Hilton Mar Caribe, if deciding between the two Hilton's.
Thx for your review
Thanks for watching!

I think this resort is a great deal. Great value for being on the beach.

Which hotel do you recommend in Cancun? All inclusive, I’m a foodie and we have a baby

@@Passporttotravel if you were a foodie where would you go? Our kid is 18 months so maybe water parks won’t be super necessary
