No there are not any USB ports in the room. The rooms are fairly old and need a renovation. There weren't even enough sockets.

Yes there is a swim up bar for non diamond members.

That is a hard one, as I agree that most all-inclusive resorts for adults are couples oriented. And of those adult only resorts, not a lot have great food. At Live Aqua, they have great food, and also a party pool area with music. So they separate the lounging couples from the more active groups. If you haven't been there, that might be a good fit for you.

Yes, it did! I have only visited it as Hilton.

I saw Don Julio Blanco while I was there. Absolut for vodka. Tanqueray for gin, etc.

It is definitely a smaller property compared to others, but if you are looking for more space and a more adult experience (its too bad you didn't find the adult pool earlier in your stay), try an adults only property next time. Aqua Live is an adults only experience and has great food and a deeper footprint on the beach.

@@Passporttotravel They closed one pool and most everyone and the kids move where the kids pool where, we had 2 days to relax, yes next time adult only.

All the restaurants have bars as well, and bar service is provided to the pool and beach areas. There is no problem getting drinks.

At 1.29 in the video, I show exactly what the plugs look like in the room. These are beside the bed. I didn't need an adapter.

No there is not. There IS a great children's structure with big slides.

I have yet to publish it. However, I can tell you I thought it was a nice resort. Much quieter than Royal Sands, and with a very calm beach. No waves. Less options onsite for eating or entertainment, but the resort does have a shuttle it runs over to the Sands, so you are free to use the facilities at either property.

It's a perfect hotel for a family vacation. It has something for all different age groups. Enjoy!

This is not in the Hotel Zone. It is near the airport heading towards Playa Carmen. There are many hotels in this area, and they have more privacy, but the beaches aren't as nice. At this hotel, it is about the pools, not the beach, as the beach hardly exists. Even without the beach, this is a really nice property, and you should pay less for it, as it is outside the Hotel Zone.

Thanks for the nice words. I really do try to point out the highs and lows of a property in an honest format. There are so many to choose from, you don't want to stay at a property in Cancun that isn't for you.

It's an easy place to like.

No one seemed dressed up while we were there. Probably can't walk in from the beach, but other than that, I think it is pretty casual.

The beach was rough while we were there the last time, but I swam in it the time before and it was fine. So it depends on weather and time of year I guess. Uber worked, and we took it to restaurants. You really need to drive to the restaurants. Walking wasn't an option.

Yes, everything inside is air conditioned. I think room service was included. I didn't use it.

I didn't see anyone smoking, so I can't answer if there is an area inside the property that you can smoke.

Know I remember they sell cigars in a cart in front of the Italian restaurant, so there must be a dedicated section somewhere.

I am sorry, IDK. I didn't pay any attention to that, but I am sure it is open until at least sundown. I looked at a picture of the activity schedule I took when I was there, and there were pool activities starting as late as 4pm.

It was for two. I wished I had booked it for a whole month at that rate! It was a deeply discounted rate, and I have not seen it as low as that since, but the prices do fluctuate, so look for a good deal.

Yep! It's a great deal, you get access to all of the restaurants and drinks included.
