Making you a correction Kunal ji, in Lakhnow, chefs aren't called Ustad but Maharaj, the king of Kitchen. I am from Kolkata but living in Mumbai and as you know we Bengali has a very close relation with Lakhnow regarding foods
To my knowledge the head chefs in commercial eateries or dhabas are called Ustad ji , while they may be called Maharaj in those nawabi havelis or big houses.
After watching your video, we went to a Barbecue Nation outlet today and got disappointed with the Tunde Kebab. It was way different and disappointing than what we see in the video. I think you got to taste a special edition of it.😉 Ours tasted like veg tunde kebab. 😂
I absolutely love Barbeque Nation. Their food is amazing and kudos to this initiative of promoting the delicious food of Lucknow across the world. And i must confess whoever is handling the PR side of BBN are doing an outstanding job. Kudos to them as well!!
Tunday Kebab is not a dish but a restaurant in Lucknow, and they serve galauti kebabs. Further in Lucknow, there is nothing called "Nawabi Parantha". The paranthas served with the Awadhi cuisine at the Lucknow restaurants are cooked on an upside-down griddle. So, the paranthas are usually called "ulte tawe ka parantha".
True glad that somebody have knowledge about this mostly people take it wrong by calling the galawati kebab by the name of tunday not knowing the fact that tunday is the franchise which is popular in Lucknow for there galawati kebab along with mughlai paratha 😊
See we should never force a restaurant like this due to various causes. Restaurants try their best to prevent Food wastage. sometimes they might serve Yesterday's items to prevent losses. They know where to introduce and where to prevent wastage. I am talking especially Restaurants that are owned by Mullas
