I can't highlight enough how big of a boost these keyboards can be for someone's productivity. They just inspire me to get stuff done; they feel amazing to type with and the Magic Keyboard in particular is made incredibly well. I love it.
@@MarioDuch Exactly! I take my Mac mini to Uni a couple times a week and having to rely on clunky Windows Keyboards was a mess. This Magic Keyboard is so slim and compact, putting it in my backpack before heading out was a no-brainer.
I have the MX Keys Mini keyboard and the battery life is AMAZING! It definitely lasts longer than just 15 hours!! I use it everyday and for multiple hours…and I’ve needed to recharge it twice in the past 6 months, and I didn’t even have to recharge it to full 100%. I absolutely recommend!!
I believe that there's no need to disconnect the Apple Magic keyboard from your Mac to connect to your iPad incase you want to since they are connected anyway... Universal Control as Apple called it.
To be honest can not beat the magic keyboard especially in terms of how fast you can type and how great it is for productivity, i feel the colours on the magic keyboard being so clear as to how you see the keys you dont even need the backlight even in the dark the monitor or tablet projects enough light.
i like more the looks of the magic keyboard and magic keyboard appears more comfortable for me but i would buy them both because I really appreciate Logitech products and their softwares I bought a Mouse signature m650 and I'm so happy with that mouse, comfortable, have the smartwheel and a silent click on the main buttons but I will buy them both, saddly apple didn't brought USB-C to the magic keyboard
Give it a try for sure, it's quite the difference between the two that you wouldn't notice at first glance. I think Apple could be upgrading those accessories in about 4-5 months, but that's a while away!
Apple keyboards and mice are shitty , perhaps the only Apple devices not designed optimally Absence of tactile feedback, backlighting and muti-device pairing is good enough reason to pass on Apple keyboards. The previous generation of Apple keyboard (without the USB-C) still had some tactile feedback, the 2024 recent ones are super flat keys - total crap and the board is flat too - zero ergonomics. My typing speed, accuracy and satisfaction is much better on Mx keys mini and the older versions of Apple keyboards with num pad which I still keep with me and rotate with Mx keys mini.

It's great for travelling too. Loved how slim it was!

15 days* with backlight on. upto 6 months with it off.
15 days, not hours.
Wow great review. I can't believe this doesn't have more views, this is really professional.
Glad you liked it! Big upgrades coming soon!
Why would you need to reconnect your Magic Keyboard for your iPad when you can just use Universal Control?
yup

Guess you have to be deep into the Mac thing
im so sad, my magic keyboard all of a sudden stopped working the number keys one and two... any advice_
Go to an Apple Store and let them have a look. That shouldn’t happen
Which one requires more force to press a key or let me rephrase: Which keyboard has more resistence, apart from the travel distance?
The MX Mini, but not much more
Great review! Thank you...
Glad you enjoyed it!
no touch id invalidates every other kb for me
Thank you, Btw which app do you write scripts for your youtube videos?
To be honest, I just jot down a few bullet points in Apple Notes or I have been using FigJam to visualise the order of things.
Is the MX Keys Mini the successor to the K810? It looks very similar.
Never heard of it, but it looks kinda cool
for a sec i was wondering what were those berries he was talking about. then i realized it must have been the batteries.
Good information. Thanks for sharing it.
Glad it was helpful!
Honestly thought you were saying Barry 😂
Great share as I know what I'm buying now

Backlight sensor (5 sec) is a nightmare of MX MINI. Also if backlight is on at daytime it is pretty hard to see the letters (white model)
Yea I feel you, it sometimes gets really annoying!
you can just use sidecar to switch from your mac to ipad
True true
Best KB for mac.
Touch ID is a deal breaker for me.
you mean "no touch is a deal breaker for me"
