The main point to make is tom hanks has played like 5 real life people that are still alive and its still believable
i agree with schulz and you can argue it on several points:
1. Whoever you are, there is at least 1 movie from nic cage that you love
2. His body of work spans every genre from blockbusters, comedy, action, drama, crime, thrillers and horror
3. His versatility. While actors like tom hanks and denzel almost always play the leading man who his either a badass or the moral compass of the movie, nic cage is all over the map playing good and bad guys, criminals, corrupt cops, goofballs or just generally insane characters
4. Cage has won every single award you can get, including an oscar so he has been critically acclaimed
5. He is a pop culture character, even more than someone like keanu reeves
6. Hes just one of the funniest characters in the world. In his life he has made millions, blew it all on coke, got in trouble with the irs, started making 20 movies a year and still managing to throw out bangers consistently like mandy last year.
