This style never died! Its always been around its just not pushed because assholes like MTV and music journalist wanted it dead. Loud N Nasty was formed in 1998, Crashdiet in 2000. Loud N Nasty is gone but Rob Nasty is now in a band called Danger. Crashdiet is still going strong. Plenty of more bands around too. Santa Cruz, Sister, Sister Sin, Danger, Reckless Love, Toxic Rose, Frenchkiss, Nasty Habit, Peepshow/States of Panic, Wild Street, Panzer Princess, Gunner/Gunner Six, Jailbait, Foxey, Dynzasty, H.E.A.T., Crazy Lixx and more

I'm 51, so I was around when the 80s Party Metal scene was going on. This band is great at doing their own thing, yes they have the 80s feel, and that's great, but try to enjoy what they are doing without comparing then to L.A. Guns, or any other 80s band.
Just googled them, didn't know them and l am also 53. It is one of the best French metal bands! Since 2001

Many people complaining that they look or sound like Crue, LA Guns, Skid Row, etc. but I really respect what these guys are doin'. They're keeping old school hard rock alive. That's it. Thank the gods this is not nu 'metal' crap or something like that bullshit.

I have been listening to hard rock music and heavy metal since I was a school boy. This guys just brought back my memories. This song gave me that same shivering thrill i used to have after listening to all those great bands like Judas priest or Iron maiden or Saxon. Keep it up guys. I was a gigging musician, during the 80’s and 90’s. Although we were a much heavier band, we shared the bill with many great bands who played “hair metal”. These guys nail the whole package.

This riff has a long history in L.A. hard rock. It's the main riff in:
"Young Girls" on Dokken's Breaking the Chains album 1981
"Tell the World" on Ratt's s/t EP 1983 (Blotzer played on Dokken's demo, so . . .)
"Looks That Kill" on Shout at the Devil 1983
There are others. It's a classic riff, and there are a million variations of it. If these guys stole from MC, they were stealing stolen goods.
