  • In this video I will be doing an in depth tour of my mobile mechanic work van. We will go through all of the drawers, nooks and cranny's. We will see some snap-on, mac, matco and cornwell tools and some other brands. Take note that not all of my specialty tools live in my work van. Most are still in my storage unit and I will get them out as needed.

      It can be a pain working in all kinds of conditions but as long as the quality work is there they are happy. Lots of extremely happy and return customers for sure!

      Me too! I wasn't too sure on how to film it at first so I just went in and did it. I still need to get all my specialty tools in the van and out of storage.

    Might look into a welder/generator/air compressor combo. Save you some room and money having it all in one.

    Very cool. No attack cat either. I like the pry bar organization. One thing to think about is how often are you running back and forth to the van for tools? Granted you can park close, but it's something to consider.

      I tried having a small room around cart for a while but it just got in the way more than anything. I usually pull up close to a customers vehicle so not a huge deal but some situations I have to walk a ways.

    Hi there, great channel. Is the Chevy Express pretty reliable? Need something for HVAC service, and a Transit Connect size would be ok, wondering which vans youd recommend, compact or regular.

    You should put either your us general or snap on box in there against the driver side wall and put the other box on top so you can use your side door

    • @ryanromano9116
      @ryanromano9116 3 года назад +1

      Then you could also easily use your hole tool box all in one spot

    • @conductormike3step
      @conductormike3step  3 года назад

      I considered it but it won't fit. Snap on box won't be able to open up all the way and the us general box will be too long and will hit the wheel well so it would have to sit in the middle of the floor rendering both it and the rear cargo area useless. When it's raining I need to have enough room in the back to work on a component and still be able to move around in.

    Organanzation is key I use an Astro van and I have plywood walls shelves and I have less room but you should finish your van better

    • @conductormike3step

      I can't take up any more space. I regularly haul engines and transmissions in crates in the van and barely have enough room

      @@conductormike3step I use a trailer or a hitch basket I welded up to carry engines/ transmissions I mean you have a good point Shelving up too would work like ups trucks have
