This guy not posted for 3 years but comments on a Very popular CODM streamer saying hes a waste of time when hes hitting numbers this guy dreams of FR just wasted 40 seconds on this 😂🤦
@@SxC-Sath sure did! It’s a weird thing called freedom. I can do what I want when I want. Next! 😂
I like your shop van
Thank you
Sometimes its 2 tabs on each side, sometimes only one tab, who knows? Those connectors are a bitch.
I have to gran the connctor and start pushing with my thumb, sometimes its hard to tell wher to even push in on it. Top, side, below, who knows? Always kills by thumb.
Theres all kinds of tuff connectors under the hood and under the car. Will these work for most of them?
how much this jod cost?
TY
Do you think this tool would work the Ford springlock connecting on the larger evaporator port? I think it is 5/8. The tool literature shows 1/2 as the max value. I'm having a very hard time reconnecting to that port.
It should. You can sometimes take a smaller diameter and put it inside the 1/2 to open it more. That’s IF you have room. Or shape some wood or plastic to fill in where need on the outer diameter
Okay. Thanks for the quick reply. And thanks for posting this video. I've not found but one other and it is only 21 seconds long.
It would be safer if the tank was almost empty.
Being mobile and on a schedule you don’t always have that option.
Very funny😂😂‼️‼️‼️
I just bought the 1/4 drive 14 volt Brushless impac nice snap-on
Very interesting advice about tools. I started with a make shift set a reusit shop. Now much larger and better
These are great ratchet wrenches period for the money. They only tear up when they are not used correctly. Customer ," man, these dont work ! I want my money back. Couldnt even take my lug nuts off!. " Tool man, " ok, no problem....shake his head."
I have this same set, and they are life savers.
Also I appreciate the feed back. Thank you
Obannon I meant
I have offers at Norfolk southern and csx in Louisville. Seems csx is the way to go since they start you at 100% and Norfolk starts at 80%. What’s PSR? Are you thinking of transferring from Ivan on?
What yard so you work at? What’s the guarantee pay after mark up? Do you enjoy it
Currently obannon, I have been marked up for a while now, currently at 362 per day, averaging around 5-6 days per week. I love it. It has has bad days like all jobs. PSR is the biggest pain in the rear. It has destroyed railroading.
Do you still work at csx?
I do. For now.
The quick connect pliers are really good for old ford and dodge AC lines where the spring lock gets super stuckrusted, Lol. What railroad do you work for? Great video!!
I used to own an automotive repair business so a lot of my content is from that. I work for CSX Transportation as a conductor now.
@@conductormike3step That's awesome, I've been a technician for 5 years now and have been a railbuff since I could walk so the name of your channel grabbed my attention! Thanks for the reply!

I just bought the icon set today. Only 180 with 25 percent coupon.
Damn. I really wanted the 1/4 drive. I hope someone else makes this better. I see a lot of reviews with the same problem. If I do end up getting one, I'll have to grab one off a truck for the warranty.
Do I have to disconnect the battery or leave it connected? I'm getting ready to replace fuel pump now if you can respond asap.
It is a good practice to do so but is not required. I never do.
Also I renamed my channel since I work for the rail road now. If you have any questions during the process you can email me at jaymack2350@gmail.com and I will email you my number and help anyway I can. It can be a pain in the hind end sometimes.
I also may need to do this on my car but I am worried I won't be able to. 15mins sounds good but I suspect this will take me hours and that is if I don't damage something else. 😢 I tried testing the electrical supply to the connector plug and was not getting any light on my circuit tester so now I am not sure if it is even the pump / filter.
wow. the welding mini table is an awesome idea!
I think so too!
They do i just ordered a 3 piece set on Amazon $50
I have the Amazon/Mountain-branded versions of these in SAE and Metric - have only really used the 9/16 and 1/2" so far doing "light duty" work on blower motor brackets inside of Rooftop A/C's - will have to keep the torque limitations in mind when I bust out the Metric set to use on my car and pickup.
Completely different set
i hate those type of nylon disconnect tool, pushing onto fuel line is half the battle, the other is manually applying evenly pressure to disconnect line, these pliers take care of the last battle. anyone know of a tool to get the nylon tool over the fuel line?? ive tried boiling water and ive left the tool to boil for 5 min, it softens up the tool so that it makes it easier, its still pretty hard but managable..
Don't need spend ten thousand on tool box when get one just good for a lot less harbor freight just as good
Hi there, great channel. Is the Chevy Express pretty reliable? Need something for HVAC service, and a Transit Connect size would be ok, wondering which vans youd recommend, compact or regular.
I just did one of these jobs and afterwards noticed something that may make this job much easier. I didnt test it as i already had the vehicle back together, but i would suggest a try. So after you disconnect everything to the fuel pump through the access panel, you go under the car and loosen the fuel tank straps, this should allow the tank to lean back to give you a better angle and allow you to miss that lip.
keep your impact sockets oiled and they won't rust
Where is that located? Trunk
What size van?
There is no key to open the Hyundai sunroof.
What's the part number on the pliers
Lisle 37300 Fuel and AC Disconnect Pliers
Would you recommend the 12point or that type you have of points vs the more common 6point bolt for overall , or it might tend to strips out the fasteners? I have worked w 12vs6 and idk i personally feel less chance of stripping out bolts w the 6point , wanted to know your view or any mechanic working for years what’s their experiences?
6 point has a much better purchase on 6 point fasteners. 12 point will work, but you really have to be on it straight or you run the risk of taking a little edge off the bolt heads. In my go-bag (where space and weight is a concern) I use 12 point on my 1/4 drive because those are going to require less torque, and 6 point on my 3/8

Love this kind of stuff. Not just because I feel less of a failure for not having the entire Snap-on catalog in my tool box lol, but its cool seeing how others work, what tools get placer higher up than others. I feel like when I got out (11 yrs, crew chief, then cross trained to security forces, ie an mp, working A LOT of Army cats), I had zero marketable skills, since nobody flies 707s, and Fedex was retiring DC10s (although at the time the offer of 40bucks an hour...yeah, stupid GI Bill made me waste time in school lol). And being a cop was fine for a while..until I got disabled. So yeah, boo hoo sob story stuff. I dont care. I just like working on things...just wish I was more up to date with diagnostics. When I was fixing heavies...we had NOTHING like that lol. It was all old school, so got a lot of catching up to do. I did start off hard though. Got a deal I couldnt pass up. Was going to get a Triton or Apollo, but ended up with a brand new Zeus (windos 7 too!) for the same price as the Apollo, with the guided component repair, so a moron like me can learn with pitures! The community and forums are good too so Ill probably keep renewing that. I was 6k all together, so yeah...mom helped, and there. I scrape by, but Im in NY so no chance of opening a shop for the public...It sucks here bad. What can I say...I want to leave out west, but I also hate leaving home. Id feel like a refugee (lets face it, NYers moving out of state tend to bring their crappy beliefs and voting patterns with them too...) Enough rambling. Hope the business is doing well.
Damn. I just bought these. At least theyre lifetime warranty
In the 70s I worked for a UK tool merchant, the north sea oil companies would only use Proto, Even then Proto was expensive, the oil companies purchases were huge, we found out they would rather throw the tools into the sea rather than re-use them.
Yes i use to work for conoco phillips and they use helicopter to transoprt 2 screws…
After putting in the new fuel pump my gas hand isn’t working any idea what it could be
Are there any other brands that are locking, reversible on bolt and ratcheting? You have the capstop first gen. I wonder if second gen are better.
I put my m818 6x6 on 6t hf stands to do wheel seals an tires
I watched them boo
We have these at my job and they are crappy compared to my williams usa
What is crappy about them? I have some Williams USA and some Proto and they both seem about the same quality.
We run proto in an industrial manufacturing environment 7 days a week. 10 hour days. The only equipment that holds up are Ingersol Rand impact guns and proto impact sockets. Nothing else makes the cut. These sockets and impact guns are put to the test.
@@gooskie1994 Thanks for the info. I'm not working in a professional setting anymore. I do have and used a Ingersol impact professionally and really like it. I recently bought 32 and 36mm impact sockets for axle nuts and went with proto.
Did you need to disconnect the sensor fuel pump ?
I think the 1/4" was discontinued. I've been looking all over for them and I don't see them on the website. Your link doesn't work either. That's too bad because I wanted the 3/8 and the 1/4 sets.
Do you have the part number on that long half inch locking flex head ratchet?
