Sorry to hear about your dad, bro. There's not much in life more difficult than that, but it also can help you realize just how important it is to care for each other. I lost my dad way back when I was 17 and, funnily enough it was then (2006-7) that I discovered vanilla wow. It was a pure haven for me; a world of wonder and fantasy to get lost in. It didn't fix things but sure felt good to find something to lose myself in. Wishing you well on the path to healing.
Sounds about right. I started wow in 06 when TBC came out. Pvp the whole time. When Wotlk came out i raided. At cata my first some was born. Now 16 yrs later i am playing Sod. I never got to do the end content of vanilla. Took out Rag last night!
The secret is to get your wife playing too! Worked wonders for me - that is until she started to demonstrate a hitherto unknown competitive streak and actually got involved in the whole Arena PvP scene, and turned out to be a darned sight better than me - I admit to to royally sucking at PvP! Regardless, very sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost my Dad unexpectedly in 2008 and I used WoW a lot back then as a kind of escape from reality, in order to not have to cope with the grief. Probably unhealthy, but - to quote a character in an entirely different game - "nobody can tell you how to grieve."
RIP, my hopes of you coming back to WoW Classic, and moreso a priest, are dashed! :( Oh welk, I'll still stick around to see what other content you create.
@@Jackymagig She basically thinks there are more effective ways to spend my time. Started exercising daily after all this went down. Definitely seen results, so she has merit.
@@ray_donovan_v4 haven't really checked either out. It's been a crazy busy couple of years, so only just now starting to settle a bit. I might check out Classic+ if it becomes a thing though.
2:18 I was there. Druid healing AQ was a blast.

@@Khadeezy Sorry for your loss. It's a really tough life event to go through, but keep pushing forward every day.

Why does your wife hate this so much exactly? My partner has always encouraged my hobbies it's strange she doesn't with you.
She hates him, simple enough.
