First of all, thanks for sharing this video which let me solve my problem and bypass reactivation lock on my Gear S3 Frontier SM-R760. I wanna add few things about some stages that i encountered some problems. Maybe this helps people faced same problems i did. PROBLEM1: "md5 error! Binary is invalid." error when click AP button and select Combination file. SOLUTION: Delete .md5 extention! So, the file should be named as COMBINATION-FT30_R760XXU2CQL1_PakFirmware.tar Then, there will be no error. PROBLEM2: After run Ansicon, failed to connect IPADDRESS:26101 or failed some other commands also such as "adb push empty.bin /opt/usr/media/" SOLUTION: Try to turn off your watch's Bluetooth before run Ansicon. When you turn on Wifi connection and enable Debugging, turn off your Bluetooth also. It worked for me. Also, don't let "connection failed" message put you off trying, keep trying. Sometimes, it doesn't connect on the first try. Typing "adb connect MYIPADDRESS:26101" worked for me after third try. Keep it in mind. PROBLEM3: Final step which is uploading AP, CSC, and BL files by using netOdin3 didn't work for me. Everything seemed right and there was written "green color PASSED" on Odin screen but on my watch's screen there was red color error message saying failed wireless downloading and try again etc. :( I restarted the device and selected wireless downloading mode again and did final phase again but it failed again with same error message. (If you encounter a problem on wireless downloading mode after failing final step such as WPS mode and AP mode cannot be seen--> GO SOLUTION4) SOLUTION: I didn't use your AP, CSC and BL files. PROBLEM4: When you go to wireless download mode, sometimes you see neither WPS mode, nor AP mode, just flower image! So, you cannot activate downloading mode wirelessly. SOLUTION: Hold power button for 2 seconds and then release it for 1 second. Continue this sequence for 4 or 5 times until you see that WPS mode on. I brought WPS mode back twice via using this method. Timing is important. Thank you SO MUCH!!! however after loading the combination file everything worked until the step on flashing the CSC, AP & BL files. I downloaded different ones (my case was for R760) from another source as these ones gave me a failure on the download's completion. The failure was on the watch in red letters but NetOdin gave me a pass
@@vitov9093 I had the same issue resulting in the watch rebooting only to odin download mode, even if i selected wireless AP download. I had to open the watch and solder a USB cable to it and only then I managed to remove the reactivation lock and download the rest of the AP, CSC & BL files. Also the dropbox link is invalid as the author used his home link

I have the R765A (AT&T) version of this watch the only difference to deactivate the lock is the adb command line (see below) change the 15 to a 16. also making sure to have the proper BL, AP, CP, and CSC files to reflash after deactivating the lock (as mentioned in the video) seriously thanks again you saved me so much time!! adb shell dd if=/opt/usr/media/empty.bin of=/dev/mmcblk0p16

The link to the dropbox folder needs to be updated. Also the step given by Ferhat Can is mandatory in order to be able to successfully pass the reactivation lock flashing step.

My watch was locked to my previous phone and due to phone dying, i couldnt do anything about the reactivation lock and even SAMSUNG customer care was of no help even though it was locked on my account. your video helped though some of the steps behaved differently like the connection port didn't worked but it connected without specifying the port. there was scary kernel upload panic mode but somehow with logic was able to move to next steps and finally able to use the watch again with the reactivation lock removed.. great job buddy

My Gear 3 SM-R760 is now functioning well after just downloading the AP file. I did not download the other files. My watch connected to my phone immediately the AP file finished downloading into the watch . So i did the rest using my phone. Thanks to the guides provided in this video and the link provided by some subscribers in the comment box. Thanks TipsNNTricks

If you're stuck in the power on/power off loop, reboot by holding the power button down, hitting it 3 times when "rebooting" pops up, then go to "recovery". The phone reset, which scared me because that was what got me in trouble in the first place, but I was able to pair my phone from there and it booted up without the reactivation block. I now need to restore it but it works!
I use net odin3 and upload the combination file but it never goes to the screen you show with all the yellow text. It just reboots and goes to the reactivation lock again and is where I started.
I hope you still have all those files to re-upload for us? The Files needed to open and operate those commands. All files connected to the links in your description and on the Forum has been deleted!
Hi, after connetion with adb (adb connect 192.###.###.##:26101) tells Ansicon, that the whatch is connected. If I enter the command "adb root on", I get the notice: "adb: unable to connect for root: device offline". But the whatch is connected. I can't get any further here... Can somebody help me? Seems a few of us are stuck at different points but I was able to get over the issues I encounter. Delete .md5, do not copy and paste ansicon to different folder and run. At least for me it did not work; said adb was bad command. Had to reconnect to ap mode twice after disabling the lock thing to flash the new files. All good, thanks a million!

I know this video from last year but really help me to reactive my samsung watch active 1.thank you for sharing, i use the same method for my samsung watch active 1 But the only I changed to reactive lock is :adb shell dd if=/opt/usr/media/empty.bin of=/dev/mmcblk0p15 , so I change 15 to 20 And of course you have to use the right firmware for your watch and the right combination file for your watch . Please share this new method for samsung active1
I tried changing the 15 to 20 and it still didn't work for me, I'm using the Samsung Galaxy watch (SM-R805W) any ideas or suggestions? I go through all the steps without issue but re-activation lock never shows that it's off when it does for him, and flashing the original firmware still takes me back to re-activation screen :(

I figured it out. Just use an older device and use ur Samsung account and choose remove unlock don't leave it on. And it worked tried on my note 10 and magic.

I got the Samsung s3 frontier to the point where the adb says its connected but when I enter seond line and copy adb root on it says the device is disconnected
Try to install "adb.exe" prior, then open "ansicon.exe", then type "adb connect IPADDRESS:26101" till you are connected and repeat the commands. Might have to disconnect other wifi connection(s) when connected to the Watch.

hello, I've reached to the adb but I'm on a gear fit 2, sm-r360, i was able to load the yellow letters on the screen buit its not responding to the commands, are there any work arounds or tips, I watched your vid over a dozen times, followed the steps diligently but cant get the commands sent to the watch. Thanks

Hello, By any chance do you know where I can get the files, folders for the Samsung Sport Gear 676A watch, it's my own watch and it locked. I can't seeem to be able to do factory reset.
I was informed the xda forum can raise concern. My IT guy said they will sometimes add hidden software to collect information. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

WELL FML. I FOLLOWED YOUR DIRECTIONS TO THE T. WHEN I FLASHED THE STOCK FIRMWARE IT RAN THROUGH THE PROCESSES AS IT SHOULD HAVE AND GAVE ME A PASS. WHEN THE WATCH REBOOTED, IT GAVE ME A BLACK SCREEN AND SAID THE BINARY HAD AN ERROR AND TO RE-ENTER WIRELESS DOWNLOAD MODE TO RE-FLASH BUT THE FILES BUT THE WATCH FAILS TO ENTER INTO THE RECOVERY OPTION SCREENS. IT ONLY DISPLAYS THE SPLASH SCREEN AND CUTS OFF. I'M HOPING ITS NOT AN PERMANENT HARD BRICK. THIS SHIT HAS MY ANXIETY LEVEL SO HIGH AND POTENT THAT EVEN THE RICHTER SCALE CANT EVEN MEASURE.

I know this video from last year but really help me to reactive my samsung watch active 1.thank you for sharing, i use the same method for my samsung watch active 1
But the only I changed to reactive lock is :adb shell dd if=/opt/usr/media/empty.bin of=/dev/mmcblk0p15 , so I change 15 to 20
And of course you have to use the right firmware for your watch and the right combination file for your watch .
Please share this new method for samsung active1
I tried changing the 15 to 20 and it still didn't work for me, I'm using the Samsung Galaxy watch (SM-R805W) any ideas or suggestions? I go through all the steps without issue but re-activation lock never shows that it's off when it does for him, and flashing the original firmware still takes me back to re-activation screen :(

I figured it out. Just use an older device and use ur Samsung account and choose remove unlock don't leave it on. And it worked tried on my note 10 and magic.

@@rudy2ndjr just use an old Android phone and connect with the s gear app and you can unlock the watch from it's issue this video shows

I did the same thing I purchased two watches. They both work boot up but I'd like to do this process with one of them. So I went to the Dropbox download clicked on it and it says file does not exist. Is there any other place that I can download the files that I need to reinstall the firmware on my Galaxy S2 watch.

I got the Samsung s3 frontier to the point where the adb says its connected but when I enter seond line and copy adb root on it says the device is disconnected
Try to install "adb.exe" prior, then open "ansicon.exe", then type "adb connect IPADDRESS:26101" till you are connected and repeat the commands. Might have to disconnect other wifi connection(s) when connected to the Watch.
