    Great video I will have to do mine aswell very soon! For a constructive criticism you said the the filler word "hummm" at every 3 seconds and found it hard to keep track of what you were saying during instructions. Don't take it the wrong way, you can only get better!

    Hey as I mentioned in one of the other videos, thanks for putting this out there. Gave me the courage to tackle this. One major note: the EGR cooler literally cracked after I installed and prior to that I was getting SCR Efficiency 4D16 codes. You have to torque the bolts in order, the EGR Cooler Bracket Bolts first from left to right, to 19 NM then back off 90 degrees and then you can tighten/torque the flange bolts to the manifold @ 19NM and the clamp to the EGR Valve @ 5nm (really as tight you can) and then retorque the bracket bolts. - Again thanks for putting this on!

      Thanks for watching and thanks for your support. This is a really good mention for all of us that would like to properly install the flange bolts to spec. Thank you for taking the time and posting. Great job.

    Thanks for the video. Really helpful and detailed. I broke that damn hose, too. I end up put a 3/4 heater hose for both side. A little bit effect and works fine. I don’t want to spend $200 for the hose but $2.

    Thanks for the video. But I have to say that there are some really important steps you’re missing. That wire on top of the egg cooler doesn’t come off so easy and that hose on top does not always just turn....it will break 🤔. And it’s $50....I know 😬. So that top wire with the white lock is a bear. I recommend you getting a tripod for your videos so we can see everything you’re doing in the process. Taking things off and then talking about it isn’t as effective but I know you’re doing the best you can.

      Tim, it sounds like you just aren't really good at what you are doing. Maybe this video isn't for you if you are having issues with locking connectors and removing hoses without breaking them.

    Thank you again for another great DIY video. I only have couple questions? Is your coolant temperature now higher than 80 degrees Celsius? I have the same problem because my coolant temperature barely makes it to 70 and because of that my DPF is not regenerating. The service manual says the coolant temperatures needs to be 75 or higher for the DPF to regenerate. Please let me know. Thank you.

      Hello, thank you for your comment. Indeed my temp is normal 86-88 degrees. You can check it using another video I have made: ruclips.net/video/BD5UJJluoss/видео.html Thanks for your support, and don't forget to subscribe.

      Subscribed long time ago 😀 and thank you for the DIY videos, these videos help us a lot to save money. Some people don’t understand it is not easy to make these videos I know that because I’ve tried. So, the car keeps the 86-88 temperature all the time? Because if it does, mine does not and needs to be replaced. Thank you

      Hey, I just to add couple of things, one, you forgot one step for the bleeding procedure and it was to press the gas pedal all the way to the floor to start the electric pump, and two, you and I with M57 engines don’t have electric pump. I tried to start the bleeding procedure myself and did not see stream of coolant in the reservoir and I’m realizing now these engines don’t have electric coolant pump. But please correct me if I’m wrong. Thank you.

      I took a class in college that dealt with public speaking and presentation. The umm is a nervous filler in conversation, it’s difficult to overcome but he’ll get it. I like watching people’s channels evolve as they get better at talking about what they are doing. Don’t let it detract from what he’s teaching everyone

      Well thanks for your feedback. I make my videos in real time and I do minimal editing. My goal is to help people with similar problems that I encounter.I do not have a college degree in English, nor is it my maiden language. I try to focus on what I am doing and sometimes that means juggling between my primary language Greek and translating to English on the fly. I truly hope I have helped you too, despite the many UMMMs that might tuned you off. Thanks for watching, i hope I can improve.

    Hi, Thanasis. The broken hose, did you broke it or it was already broken.

    • @thanasisdiydad9200
      @thanasisdiydad9200  4 года назад

      This must have been cracked before I removed it, because there was some fluid around that area from before. I might have damaged it more when I pulled it out. I try to be very careful when I do things like this, therefore It took me about 6 hours to finish.
