Odd that it comes standard with some stuff that you would have to add on the cheaper starting GLE like the Bermester sound system and pano roof. If they'd left those off I think it would have started about the same price as the Q8.

EQE is a good car, but two biggest cons for me (as Alex pointed out):
Breaks are really really bad , Suspensions too soft.
    Pros:
    Interior and Efficiency
But they have a lot of reliability issues actually all "EQ" models, Mercedes needs to iron those out soon. The moon roof actually opens in EQE SUV, unsure why Alex could not get it opened (issue may be)

I've been driving an EQE SUV loaner while my EQS SUV gets repaired. Neither one is good with bumpy roads / pot holes. You WILL feel the bumps. The suspension is stiff even in comfort mode! The EQS's massaging seats features a weak massage. So if you're looking for a plush ride and with a good deep quality massage, look elsewhere. I'm baffled this guy gives this ride an A+ while the camera captures him shaking as he rides over bumps in both regular pavement and off road riding.

  • @grinster399

I once aspired to own a MB (here in Australia), and earlier this year test drove a GLA. Well - it was pretty much the poorest quality vehicle that I had driven in my nearly 50 years of holding a driver licence ... the whole cabin, and I literally mean the whole cabin, vibrated and rattled over even the slightest of bumps, including the near invisible asphalt seams in the main road I was driving on.
When I cut the test drive short, and returned the vehicle, my recounting of how poor I found the build quality then set the salesperson off on a long spiel about how MB build quality had greatly deteriorated over the past ten years, how the current model GLC was affected by multiple electrical and electronic faults that saw vehicles repeatedly coming in for warranty repairs, and more!
I no longer aspire to own a MB. I went on to buy a Nissan Ti-L e-Power SUV - being the Euro/Australian version of the Nissan Rogue, except with electric motors and a small battery teaming up with a small turbo petrol/gas engine acting as generator. A brilliant vehicle! Tens of thousands of dollars cheaper than the GLA I test drove, yet a (in my opinion) greatly superior vehicle.

Mercedes are absolutely the most overpriced vehicles on sale today, I’m not gonna count the S-Class here because that’s very debatable, but still overpriced.

I ordered the EV9 AWD GT-line 6P Relax 1st Edition two weeks ago (living in Finland). If EV9 will stick to the same quality as EV6, it is a winner. I was never a KIA fan (quite the opposite), but you can't deny their vast leap forward in recent years.
