Best things you can do during Rahu Dasha: 1. Maintain good personal hygiene (can't emphasize this enough). 2. Keep your house clean and clutter-free (positive impact on your mental health + remember Rahu thrives in a mess). 3. Don't smoke or drink or do drugs (seriously, your mind doesn't need any further help in getting confused and unstable during this period). 4. Cut down consumption of meat (not sure if that's necessary but I feel my Rahu dasha went better when I was a vegetarian). 5. Don't assume that everyone is out to get you and ruin your life. Don't trust anyone blindly (let them earn your trust) but also give people the benefit of the doubt. There's a quote, "never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by ignorance." You can replace 'ignorance' with Rahu. 6. Meditate to stay calm and be in the moment. 7. Dance, listen to music, play a sport, make art, basically do activities that take you out of your head. 8. Channelize your restless energy into something creative like a new project. 9. Be a drama queen if you must but never repress your emotions. Feel them, stay in touch with them, let them flow. Repressed emotions will make you look for things and people to fill the self-created emptiness, and Rahu loves that sh*t. 10. Love yourself enough to forgive and walk away.

This whole time I've been in my Rahu Mahadasha and didn't even know it! I've had a whirlwind of adventures, everything from living abroad and getting married to having a string of low-paying jobs, having to quit and move every year because of circumstances, and utter confusion about my path. I JUST realized this whole time I've been experiencing my Rahu Mahadasha and in a few months I'll finally be moving into Jupiter at last!! I hope I can finally see some stability.

I entered my Rahu dasha in October 2020. My rahu sits in my 3rd house of Gemini in sidereal. Right before it started, I got a job in technology paying 2X more. I moved to another city away from my family and now am making almost 4X. I was also promoted 1.5 years into my role. I went to Jamaica last year and I began working with a millionaire mentor. Rahu in 6th house in Aries with Venus conjunct. Ending my Rahu Mahadasha this year. Has been a long time. Spent time in foreign land, did not finish my Master's, moved a lot, quarreld with many many people, especially authorities, bosses and colleagues, changed jobs many times, often things started out positive but then ended badly or abruptly, had quite an intense relationship, which ended with great disillusion. However, I learned a lot and never gave up. Rahu tempted me with a lot of stuff, I believe it could have been much worse for me. I went through many deep transformations during Rahu Mahadasha, I took all the negative shit as opportunities to grow. One of the best things: I discovered vedic astrology during Rahu Moon. 😃

@@theoutlierTO Pretty harsh on almost all fronts... but Jupiter aspects Rahu in my chart, so I honestly feel like I was protected from major disaster in some ways. Things could have been a lot worse. It's been a month since Jupiter Dasha started and I'm in a very strange state of mind.
I am so done with my Rahu Mahadasha, who is almost over (in 8 months). It's in in the 12th. Aspecting moon in 8th and venus in 4th I spend too much time into my head, alone & I feel I spend to much time behind my PC and not working on my fysical health. I feel like I outgrown my Rahu. I'm ready for jupiter. I am now in the last antradasha which is mars. And I suddenly felt the need to take action in all those different aspects of my life. I am working out now (never tought I would), I am taking new steps in career and business, taking care of finances and solving family arguments (mars in 2th aspecting moon). And its like mars is preparing me for the next time period!
I indeed did travel overseaz for a couple months. I graduated for 2 different educations in total. I worked in social work for a while. Started my photography business. Decided to go fulltime on my business. I met my now fiance, bought a house together and unfortunately had a miscarriage once. But I am okay now. I can only thank Rahu because it took me to valuable places and gave me a lot of self reflection in life, from being alone and in isolation.

When my Mahadasha just has started I became pregnant in a couple of months after dating and had to move with the future husband abroad. After 6 years and two common children we divorced. Currently in my Rahu dasha and obsessed with learning astrology... I neglected everything for it. Esp now after turning 24. I've literally been only researching astrology every single day since start of 2022. Not answering work emails of lucrative deals, friends warm messages or going to sleep early. I'm here sitting up until 2 am getting interested in another aspect of astrology. Honestly don't know how I will manage to move on from this and go about my actual life like dealing with loose ends of my professional situation (unpaid work) and setting up a new business as well as replying to so many personal messages. Im going to this strange phase as well. rahu 3H, libra, alone no aspect expect Ketu in 9H (alone as well). I even check muharta and panchang while brushing my teeth...I bought so many books, I even tried to read the bagava Gita but this is not an easy book to read for hours. Like you I stay up late. I dont eat with my colleagues anymore, I check transits, read, enjoy the calm. I feel weird, not neat although i am super clean, Nothing seems to satisfies me. My patience is short with my son. I do pooja but as soon as I feel upset, I drink red wine and I eat like crazy (?) mantras luckily bring me back in balance. The more I do them, the easiest and the fastest it is to restore my "peace" . Another 17 years and 10 months to go... All my dashas were roller-coasters but I think that I am stronger now. It was Mars which gave me everything, (permanent job, my son after 40, the purchase of my house on my own) yet something is missing, probably a relationship. Mars dasha sandhi gave me Jyotisha, along with some strong depression without any apparent cause. Every morning of this last antardasha I was surprised to be alive. I somehow expected not to be. It was a very strange period and now this.. Ive already been through the dasha of rahu significator, and it happens to be my atmakaraka as well. So I think that I am better prepared than in the past. I also have a full on kaal saarp yoga 3/9
@@janetcraig761 That 3rd house 9th house axis is so strong with occult and spirituality, especially how you mentioned reading religious text. You must have a lot of intuitive intelligence right now as well in this MD. However some major retrogrades are happening this second part of 2022, which may affect your obsession with the occult right now. Rahu-rahu is quite tough, but it gets a bit better in Saturn, Mercury and Venus bhuktis for sure. You've learnt a lot of lessons in previous MD's that you can undoubtedly use in the Rahu MD. Be very careful of the relationships as this period definitely brings a lot of deception from other people, it seems very tough for that from my own experience. As you say your AK is Venus, you are correct, the void that is missing within you can definitely be a partnership and more beauty and harmony in life which Rahu might be destabilizing being in Libra, making it hard to keep work, family and passions in balance, wanting to only focus on the intellectual passions such as the divine science of astrology. Depending on the placement of your Venus, the Venus AD might be favourable for this, though it's somewhere in the middle of the whole planetary cycle. Patience. My Rahu MD is 14 years more to go, so there are many more sudden changes to overcome for both of us. Hang in there and keep your daily practices that bring peace, as these are the most helpful for de-stressing the mind in this period. Patience, meditation and holding back from breaking any barriers or wanting to achieve things quickly over-night. I've just entered my Saturn bhukti the other day and it feels much more disciplined already, I was able to break out of the habit of looking at charts all day and actually take care of myself and my pet the proper way. Hopefully these other bhuktis will be move favourable for you and restore some of the balance you might have been missing ever since Rahu MD started for you. Stay vigilant!
For Anyone who wants to learn: I am in the last third of my Rahu Mahadasha ( entered Rahu/Venus in November of 2018) It won't end until I am 36 and I am pretty sick of it. My Rahu is alone in Pisces ( Uttarha Badrapada 3rd Pada) in the 7th house ( in the 6th depending on house system) Which is one of the worst placements of Rahu according to what I have read. And it squares my Natal Mercury/Venus conjunction in Ardra nakshatra) Met My Husband during a Mars/Venus period Married and had my first child during Mars/Moon ( natal Opposition of the two) 20 days after he was born I went into the Rahu/Rahu mahadasha ( If only I had know astrology back then). We purchased a house during the financial crisis of 2008 and then: Forced relocation for my husbands jobs away from his family and friends. This caused a foreclosure for us - we couldn't buy a house for 7 years. ( Rahu/Jupiter - the same day we got the letter we had to move in 4 weeks) Spent most of my time in solitude, no friends or family around, at home with my kids for 60+ hours a week - plus my husband works nights so I was the only parent almost 24/7 Health issues (Virgo AC - Rahu/Mercury Year) Money Issues - being sued because of loss of income caused defaults on payments ( Rahu/Keto year) This Rahu/Venus time period has brought much more financial stability, but a lot of sadness and loss as well ( My Venus is conjunct Mercury rx in Ardra Nakshatra) If anyone has some good resources on the rest of this mahadasha - I am trying to figure out how bad it could get before it gets better. I've only begun learning this last week ( I have been learning tropical astrology for the past year- really wouldn't have understood any of this without learning that first)

Rahu mahadasa started when I studied 12th std. I have Rahu and Venus conjunction in my birth chart. I easily get fame where I go to study or where I work. Otherwise this combination gave me a worst part in my life. Rahu dasa have completely taken my Youngest life. i have another 6 years of rahu in front of me.. thank god i found rudrakshas.. they really give relief. and btw. a few years ago i wanted to log in into my online bank account. for some reason i ended up on the bank account of a ~50yo women (i even found her on facebook), i had access to all her money and even her husbands money. (in total like 400k). luckily i decided to take nothing and left her account.
I just found out I was born in Rahu mahadasha with Ketu Bhakti. If this explains why I have had a lot lessons to learn and adversities, it explains it all! The Worst phase starts when Rahu mahadasha enters moon antardasha. I experienced existence of negative energies, ghosts and many paranormal activities. Rahu is moon is just like a living suicide.
Made the biggest mistake of my life in rahu mahadasha. Things are not going to be the same. Change for the worst. I am taking medication for schizophrenia because of an unconfirmed diagnosis. God help me.

Best things you can do during Rahu Dasha:
1. Maintain good personal hygiene (can't emphasize this enough).
2. Keep your house clean and clutter-free (positive impact on your mental health + remember Rahu thrives in a mess).
3. Don't smoke or drink or do drugs (seriously, your mind doesn't need any further help in getting confused and unstable during this period).
4. Cut down consumption of meat (not sure if that's necessary but I feel my Rahu dasha went better when I was a vegetarian).
5. Don't assume that everyone is out to get you and ruin your life. Don't trust anyone blindly (let them earn your trust) but also give people the benefit of the doubt. There's a quote, "never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by ignorance." You can replace 'ignorance' with Rahu.
6. Meditate to stay calm and be in the moment.
7. Dance, listen to music, play a sport, make art, basically do activities that take you out of your head.
8. Channelize your restless energy into something creative like a new project.
9. Be a drama queen if you must but never repress your emotions. Feel them, stay in touch with them, let them flow. Repressed emotions will make you look for things and people to fill the self-created emptiness, and Rahu loves that sh*t.
10. Love yourself enough to forgive and walk away.

I entered my Rahu dasha in October 2020. My rahu sits in my 3rd house of Gemini in sidereal. Right before it started, I got a job in technology paying 2X more. I moved to another city away from my family and now am making almost 4X. I was also promoted 1.5 years into my role. I went to Jamaica last year and I began working with a millionaire mentor. I am so done with my Rahu Mahadasha, who is almost over (in 8 months). It's in in the 12th. Aspecting moon in 8th and venus in 4th I spend too much time into my head, alone & I feel I spend to much time behind my PC and not working on my fysical health. I feel like I outgrown my Rahu. I'm ready for jupiter. I am now in the last antradasha which is mars. And I suddenly felt the need to take action in all those different aspects of my life. I am working out now (never tought I would), I am taking new steps in career and business, taking care of finances and solving family arguments (mars in 2th aspecting moon). And its like mars is preparing me for the next time period!
I indeed did travel overseaz for a couple months. I graduated for 2 different educations in total. I worked in social work for a while. Started my photography business. Decided to go fulltime on my business. I met my now fiance, bought a house together and unfortunately had a miscarriage once. But I am okay now. I can only thank Rahu because it took me to valuable places and gave me a lot of self reflection in life, from being alone and in isolation.

I have Rahu in 10th in Twins. Dispositor Mercury is Retrograde , sits in 5th house with Venus. When my Mahadasha just has started I became pregnant in a couple of months after dating and had to move with the future husband abroad. After 6 years and two common children we divorced. The divorce was just nightmare. I feel along abroad , but cannot leave as my children were born here and my Ex will not let us go, something similar to jail honestly.

Currently in my Rahu dasha and obsessed with learning astrology... I neglected everything for it. Esp now after turning 24. I've literally been only researching astrology every single day since start of 2022. Not answering work emails of lucrative deals, friends warm messages or going to sleep early. I'm here sitting up until 2 am getting interested in another aspect of astrology. Honestly don't know how I will manage to move on from this and go about my actual life like dealing with loose ends of my professional situation (unpaid work) and setting up a new business as well as replying to so many personal messages. SHEEEEEEESH.
Im going to this strange phase as well. rahu 3H, libra, alone no aspect expect Ketu in 9H (alone as well). I even check muharta and panchang while brushing my teeth...I bought so many books, I even tried to read the bagava Gita but this is not an easy book to read for hours.

I dont eat with my colleagues anymore, I check transits, read, enjoy the calm.
I feel weird, not neat although i am super clean, Nothing seems to satisfies me. My patience is short with my son. I do pooja but as soon as I feel upset, I drink red wine and I eat like crazy (?) mantras luckily bring me back in balance. The more I do them, the easiest and the fastest it is to restore my "peace" .
Another 17 years and 10 months to go... All my dashas were roller-coasters but I think that I am stronger now. It was Mars which gave me everything, (permanent job, my son after 40, the purchase of my house on my own) yet something is missing, probably a relationship.
Mars dasha sandhi gave me Jyotisha, along with some strong depression without any apparent cause. Every morning of this last antardasha I was surprised to be alive. I somehow expected not to be. It was a very strange period and now this..
Ive already been through the dasha of rahu significator, and it happens to be my atmakaraka as well. So I think that I am better prepared than in the past.

@@janetcraig761 That 3rd house 9th house axis is so strong with occult and spirituality, especially how you mentioned reading religious text. You must have a lot of intuitive intelligence right now as well in this MD. However some major retrogrades are happening this second part of 2022, which may affect your obsession with the occult right now. Rahu-rahu is quite tough, but it gets a bit better in Saturn, Mercury and Venus bhuktis for sure. You've learnt a lot of lessons in previous MD's that you can undoubtedly use in the Rahu MD.
Be very careful of the relationships as this period definitely brings a lot of deception from other people, it seems very tough for that from my own experience. As you say your AK is Venus, you are correct, the void that is missing within you can definitely be a partnership and more beauty and harmony in life which Rahu might be destabilizing being in Libra, making it hard to keep work, family and passions in balance, wanting to only focus on the intellectual passions such as the divine science of astrology. Depending on the placement of your Venus, the Venus AD might be favourable for this, though it's somewhere in the middle of the whole planetary cycle. Patience.
My Rahu MD is 14 years more to go, so there are many more sudden changes to overcome for both of us. Hang in there and keep your daily practices that bring peace, as these are the most helpful for de-stressing the mind in this period. Patience, meditation and holding back from breaking any barriers or wanting to achieve things quickly over-night.
I've just entered my Saturn bhukti the other day and it feels much more disciplined already, I was able to break out of the habit of looking at charts all day and actually take care of myself and my pet the proper way. Hopefully these other bhuktis will be move favourable for you and restore some of the balance you might have been missing ever since Rahu MD started for you.

Forced relocation for my husbands jobs away from his family and friends. This caused a foreclosure for us - we couldn't buy a house for 7 years. ( Rahu/Jupiter - the same day we got the letter we had to move in 4 weeks)
Spent most of my time in solitude, no friends or family around, at home with my kids for 60+ hours a week - plus my husband works nights so I was the only parent almost 24/7
Health issues (Virgo AC - Rahu/Mercury Year)
Money Issues - being sued because of loss of income caused defaults on payments ( Rahu/Keto year)
This Rahu/Venus time period has brought much more financial stability, but a lot of sadness and loss as well ( My Venus is conjunct Mercury rx in Ardra Nakshatra)
If anyone has some good resources on the rest of this mahadasha - I am trying to figure out how bad it could get before it gets better. I've only begun learning this last week ( I have been learning tropical astrology for the past year- really wouldn't have understood any of this without learning that first)
