I’ve been in my rahu mahadasha since 2008. 5 more years I’m 38. I cannot wait to get into my Jupiter dasha.
How has it been?
I think, you have to wait almost 1 yr more after entering Jupiter dasha . When Jupiter will come in transit at the house where your Jup is placed, you will start getting fruit.

Me too- last 2 years of rahu and than Guru... but havent notice so much difference - as my horoscope overall not good- so I guess every dasha is fucked up... rahu been good in many senses, but also some bad stuff bring in my life... so a bit rush and as Komilla said a lot of desires and than a lot of regrets and disatosfaction that I did not get things... I think two periods when I wanted to do suicade - Sade Sati period and Rahu period -but in sade sati I was more closer to suicade as per rahu
my Rahu dasha has just started on 20/8/2019 and am certainly looking forward to this wonderful 18 years periods. After a Rocky Mars mahadasha I am prepared to face any challenge. it's perfect divine timing. and I know that putting in the hardwork for all the opportunities rahu is going to bring my way. during Rahu rahu period I connected with many international clients and learnt many new technology skills.
absolutely right! Rahu dasha is not about sitting at home for 18 years, not taking any decision and have unadventurous life. Rahu is all about go out , meet new people , follow your passion and have all kind of experience. It's a wonderful experience and valuable lesson before you becoming master of your life. I just try to be positive:) my mahadasha starts on coming august. It's in 8th house with a sign of 4/ moon. My horoscope is Jupiter 9/ ascendant. Sun and mars are in 4th house, mercury and venus are in 3rd house and Jupiter and saturn are in 10th house. Genuinely saying my mars dasha was good still going on till more four months. In this period I got a good job and finally I came London to pursue my master. I wish I get married before mars dasha getting over. What is your view please let me know. Thanks

@@mayoork3767 my Mars mahadasa was very eventful. As I moved into rahu mahadasa I was thrown on impossible curved ball after another. Now I'm in Jupiter phase of rahu mahadasa. Here is what I learnt, hope this helps. Rahu mahadas is all about surrender. Believing that these were lessons your soul needed at this point in your life. Don't fight it it's not about you but about how you are going to react and restore the order in your life. It's about asking what am I to learn from this, and I surrender to the universe to have my back and show me the way. I am 68 and rahu mahadasa at this point of life can be quite a challenge. But then I've lived a wonderful life I am being shown what next. And the Jupiter phase of this mahadasa is expanding everything possible. So I feel like a cork bobbing in choppy waters and then I see that the cork is always afloat it never sinks. That is because it surrenders to the motion of the waters. That is how I see life now. Know that nothing is permanent and it is just a very important detour in our journey for life . This phase will completely expand the road ahead for you if you let it. Wish you all the luck and benevolence in your life. Divine grace never fails.

This needs to reach a wider audience including people who only partially believe in vedic astrology. Rahu impacts everyone on this planet. It’s ways are mysterious. Rahu Mahadasha was not a positive in the end for me. I was in it starting at age 15. It brought happiness and ripped it from me. A lover betrayed me, family turned against me and no one gave me any credit. It was if I did not exist or matter. I am in Jupiter Mahdasha currently and Rahu Antardasha. I'm saggittarius moon and Asc , my experience is it's been a very very tough since the age of 19yrs now 42yrs .... My Mars and rahu Dasha has been very very tough with almost 5yrs 9 months of sade sati done .... Now Rahu moon happening and still 2yrs to go....
I'm not desperately waiting for Jupiter.... Cos I have learnt in 22-23 yrs "what is Life".....only thing I can control is having a hope and keep working towards Peace of mind

I always have felt that I don't belong in my country; not only in Rahu Mahadasha. In my Vedic chart; and even my palm - it always says that I will find my happiness, luck, and home in foreign land and cross a large body of water.
I don't know about my horoscope but I m 25 and never I wanted to leave India but I always felt very alienated that I don't belong here,still I never got an idea to go abroad but since past 3months I feel very strong urge to go out.But I don't know how to go ,what to do bcoz it is not possible and feasible financially etc and my rahu MD started when I was 17.What have u thought of going abroad aspect?Share with me if u have any ideas.Thanks :)
I felt the same, always wanted to leave the country and my horoscope also said that most probably i will married to foreign spouse. I don’t know why
@@imankasthuri6527 I would go with your gut. I am quite intuitive myself. Chances are that you already know within your soul where your destiny lies. I have since I was 15 years old. I know that I will end up in foreign lands, and visit the land I was born in.

Sure wish I knew this 18 years ago! I finished my Rahu Dasa LAST WEEK & even though it's in a good house in my chart, it has NOT been easy emotionally. Not at all. Also, I have Kala Sarpa Yoga. Even the three outer planets are trapped between the Nodes. For me this was intense. I never want to live through it again. Still....thank you Komilla. Just wish I knew you were around to help years ago.

Hi Maria,I need ur help,even I have kal sarp dosh and it's not a yoga,it's a dosha which means it's malefic. Mentally I m so much tortured that I feel hell will be a blissful place.If u can share ur experiences it ll be helpful for me.Rahu MD has started for me since 2013 and past 6months along with sadesati I was on verge of becoming mad,I was even searching to go for shock therapy bcoz everything else failed for me.It ll be very helpful for me if u give me any advice or share ur experiences :)

@@ashwinidombale7158 hi dear ..i understand what you mean..i have had rahu mahadasha since 2006, and in 2014 Sade-Sati started...I have felt suicidal many a times ...fr 2006 to 2016 it wasn't that bad ..as my Rahu-mercury at the start of Sade sati must have been good ..but from 2016...and it's been 7 years now .I am on a roller coaster ride .I always blamed Shani ji for taking away my identity.. psychiatrist.. psychotherapist...reiki..have gone through all..though Reiki helped me... psychotherapy helped me a bit ..I will give you my 2 cents of loving advise ...is what ai have realised through intuition

1) Stop wearing blue/black...
2) Avoid alcohol on Saturdays especially
3) Find a spiritual Guru...(A Guru is a spiritual embodiment of Jupiter which gives you wisdom to fight against Rahu's illusions)
4) Wear an 8-mukhi rudraksha . I am going to find one for me ..
5) If possible go to a specialised Psychotherapist who deals with hypnotherapy and past life regression as well...
Rahu is a planet of illusion...so it will cause confusions ...fears...anxiety unnecessarily over trivial things....Imagine i have OCD...and OCD is obsession....Rahu gives obsession...it's difficult to overcome obsession ..but I am sure I will sail through this period because of my Guru .
Paramahansa Yogananda... And Babaji Maharaj.. I haven't been a very sincere student..but they love me and I feel it through every moment of my existence
6) Learn to meditate. ..and do it daily...
7) Be extremely busy ..though you might feel so many mind-related obstruction even to feel busy...just resort to your easiest method of getting away in the mind related loop and step out of your house...
8) Wear clean clothes and keep your house clean
9) Have bath with epsom salt mixed in water..it cleans aura
10) If you love animals .do something for them
11) Last but not the least..during the end of Rahu Mahadasha I think we all become a cleaner version of ourselves washing past our past karmas and becoming more spiritual....Shani dev helps us rectify past karmas....and he reveals your innermost fears...and you will be forced to reach to the root of your problems...I think Rahu pushes you badly in that path...so that you are forced to come out of it...Hope you are peaceful and happy ..God and Guru heal you ..even I am fighting every single day..can't describe what I am going through

How was Rahu-Venus?
I'm in Rahu-Moon with Moon in Taurus, and Moon is 5th from Rahu. The first 6 months of Rahu-Moon gave me relief, I felt like I was in my element after a very long time. But it seems you can't escape the sting of Rahu during this period. The next 6 months have been mentally disturbing, giving me sleepless nights. I'm now regaining strength and going back into my spiritual practice.

When I was older I started to notice that every time I entered a Rahu Bukti I was forced to move. Then I looked back at the Rahu Bukti's of my childhood and the same exact thing! We moved during those times too. It makes me wonder what will happen during the Main Mahadasha of Rahu. Will I be living a nomadic life for 18 years?

Very very few people have positive Rahu. Rahu gives exceptionally good results in 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th house subject to following

Komilla, what if Rahu or Ketu are exactly conjunct a fixed star? I have not been able to find any information on this. I have ketu exactly conjunct Spica in my third house. It's a good star, but Ketu terrifies me. What say you?

I have Rahu with Jupiter Saturn mercury Venus sun in 10th Leo and it’s been wild! Rahu Jupiter Saturn now/ that third planet of the Rahu Jupiter dasa period it’s seems to be fixing cars soooo much and nothing is ever done completely right by the mechanics! I probably had four five parts done and it’s never done right at all. Scary because don’t have money to fix it if additional problems arise every time they do things incompletr
As soon as my Mars-mars Dasha started I felt like I didn't belong, with in 6 months it changed to Mars-rahu and I was totally unsatisfied. Will I really be unsatisfied and unsafe for the next 20ish years? I went so long allowing myself second I thought by choosing me now I'd start being happy when it transits to Mars-jupiter next week. (Feeling nervous now, thought this would be the best years of my life cus my kids were grown. 😂)

Highly educated but Jobless, My marriage proposal getting rejected (12 girls) and the girls that are proposing me will make my life more difficult (as in high maintenance). I have passed 2/3 of rahu mahadasha. Most adverse effect I have seen so far in Rahu-Sat and Rahu-ketu sub dashas. I think if we classify rahu dasha in 3 stages, the effects will be different for different Asc or Rashi.I am worry about Rahu-Mars . Becz Rahu is in my Mars house and both are mutually aspected. @@dietpiediaries6287 In Rahu-ketu unidentified diseases and in Rahu-Sat delay is common along with the house related problems associated with Sat if Sat is weak in your chart.

Today I moved into my Rahu-Moon period. I’m a bit nervous, but we will see how things pan out. I’m glad I only have a few more years left with Rahu. Rahu-Sun was strange and one of the most negative ones so far, but in general just strange. I’m not looking forward to Rahu-Mars looking back at my life when I went through Mars-Rahu (not the best time at all). My Mars is combust in the 6th as well so not ideal I don’t think. Though most look forward to Jupiter Dasha I’m not so sure it will be as good as it is for many others. I’ll still be glad to be out of Rahu though. My Jupiter is in the 12th in Scorpio. So, maybe I’ll move out of the country - which seems unlikely right now, but during Rahu-Saturn I was shown something in a “dream” that would mean I would not live in my own country later in life. Rahu is a very confusing time.. tho with Ketu in my 1st I am often in another world anyways.

@@iremyigit2441 It's been a bit bumpy so far, but not too bad yet. A lot of money issues now, but that's more than this dasha. I am Sag asc. with moon in aries 5th ruling cancer 8th with venus there, my mars is combust and Jupiter in 12th scorpio. So, all of that with natal Jupiter 12th and right now Jupiter in 12th from moon and strong in Pisces.. let's just say money is not fun right now. LOL. Rahu moon activating my 8th as well and Mars being in natal 6th Taurus which is 12th from my natal Rahu in Gemini. It's a WHOLE LOT of 12th and 8th house energy happening. And with natal combust mars it's extra hard.
Hopefully yours will be better. As all this depends heavily on your placements. On the other hand I can actually tell a shift in energy about a month into Rahu-Moon. I'm seeing things play out again in a similar way from when Rahu dasha was about to start and during Rahu-rahu. Which I've heard is common at the end of each Mahadasha period. As I get closer to Jupiter the energy is different. Though I'm actually not too excited about my Jupiter since I'm a Sag rising and Jupiter is in my 12th among other things. But, that's still a bit away so we'll see. Good luck! And I'd love to hear how yours goes when you get into your rahu-moon. :)

@@iremyigit2441 My Jupiter is retrograde too. I'm still working out how that affects things in vedic astrology. I'm quite advanced in western astrology, but I'm still very much learning Joytish. So, I can give a few opinions/suggestions, but don't take it as fact. First thing I would do is look at how your Moon Dasha went. Like, what happened there. Bc I'm assuming you went through it already unless you were born during or after. If you were really young then maybe it won't show much, but it's a worth a look. I like to look at a Dasha chart and the dates and think back to what was going on in life during that time. Like the themes. Now, Rahu is in Mars house right now so you should look at your mars and see what he's like. Since moon is in your third house I'd look at that house meaning and the ruler venus. Since astrology is like an onion there are so many layers to everything. Also, nakshatras do seem to make a difference and matter as well. Like when rahu and the moon are transiting different ones and what ones your natal rahu and moon are in. Since this is moon I think the biggest thing to remember is that it will be a heavily mental time period. Like, even if things seem horrible or really good that actually most of it will be in your head. So, things probably aren't actually that bad or that good. That is my motto throughout this Rahu-moon period. Also, look for the lessons Rahu is teaching your and go towards them instead of running away. Moon will make you want to run away bc of fear and rahu can cloud a lot of things bc of his "maya" stuff.
In general you seem to have some nice placements so definitely don't be too worried. A lot of illusions happen during rahu and moon too. :)
@@1Lovelife11 you are quite the astrology gourmet :D i think jupiter's retrograde won't affect much. because kylie jenner's jupiter is also retrograde but she has a very beautiful life. but is this dasha absolutely real? because there are those who are in a bad dasha and lead a good life. or there are those who are in a good dasha and lead an average life. pretty odd.

I am having Rahu dasha since 2005 i was 10 years old at that time right now going through my Rahu sun or may be rahu moon antardasha and to me it feels like something is eating me from inside...i am not happy with myself

Oh My God. Its the same with me. I currently have Rahu mahadasha with Moon antardasha. Its so tough. My physical health is messed up and in turn my mental health as well. But hopefully it will pass. Anyway try to pray to God Shiva and God Hanuman ji and Goddess Durga ji.
@@maichyang2912 Baseless thinking is common during this period. I have experienced the same. The only way is to keep yourself busy. I usually don't believe in staying busy to deal with emotions, but this is one exception, because the mind becomes an enemy during Rahu-Moon.
