I played this for the first time at a friend's house in 2011, six years ago. And I got it for free with Xbox Live Gold last week. I really want a remaster of this game, which would include some of my ideas that I came up with: - Realistic ragdoll physics (the enemy now gets knocked back a little bit compared to the original game by explosions, gunfire and melee attacks, varying on the amount of force behind these attacks) - Smarter enemy AI (varies on battle experience) - More weapons - Realistic ADS for all weapons and historically accurate iron sights (for example, you now aim through the rear sights too with the MP40 and the STG44 now has hooded front sights) - Grenades don't bounce like a tennis ball when they hit a surface - Some level of gore and dismemberment, which can be turned on or off - You can move while aiming (was impossible before) - Leaning is activated by a specific button
This game is really really sick! All the gameplay and immersion. I remember when I played the demo I could not stop and played the shit out of it and pre-order. And the actual game delivered! Definitely one of my favorite!
For the sake of all games I think we can all agree that all the classic games and any classic game from the past with today's technology should be remastered for all to enjoy again bring back the classics but fix them

I remember playing the demo of this on the xbox 360 without realizing that it's the demo. I always wondered why the game ended in the middle of a fight.
this dipiction about airborne troops being shot at by their own navy was TRUE!!....one of the worst blunders in ww2....Gen Patton ordered an airborne drop in sicily, troops stationed in north africa boarded planes for the drop....the navy was being harrassed by german planes throughout the landings and when B-17s flew over the ships on the way to their DZ...sailors mistook allied planes for german ones and began firing at them. Of the 27 planes carrying paratroops, about 1000 men, 16 were shot down or received heavy AA damage, only an estimated 400 men were able to make the jump. After this incident, allies began marking planes with white stripes on the wings so ground personnel wouldnt make the same mistake.

You do realise that they fired and recorded every gun individually just for this game? Its on the extras for the game they also did passes of the c-47 doing flybys for the jump scenes

Paul Polar Yes it should be possible as the game was produced on lower spec levels anyway. In-game there are settings and sliders to reduce/increase all levels of sound and graphics etc. One point though. If you have any games at a higher spec level for PhysX then it will NOT install. You have to uninstall the PhysX from your PC and install the game. This will install a lower level PhysX from the CD and then the PC will update itself to a higher level. Just the way it works. Hope that helps you.

Well, I see that many of the comments posted has been criticizing the current Medal of Honor Series like Medal of Honor 2010 and Warfighter. Yes, EA has failed to deliver quality Medal of Honor games especially Strong and Compelling Single player Campaigns but I also agree that the World War 2 genre days have ended. We no longer fight with M1 Garand and Blow Tiger Tanks with a Bazooka. I would like a Medal of Honor Game set in a Science Fiction Genre where a current US Army/Marine or any Special Force Guy with Modern Weapons (E.g. MP5 Submachine gun) is sent back in WW2 to fight Nazis or Japs.
Well much better than Darkest of Days. The Story will involve a American Soldier (Army/Marine) getting injured while fighting ISIS. Gets Medically operated and as part of a History changing Operation is sent back equipped with a Modified M4 Carbine that fires the 30-06 round.
Artakha A Rifle which spits lead at 750-900 rounds per minute is "Boring"?? That's Way more than the WW2 Sturmgewehr - 44's 550 rounds per minute. The Gameplay will also include the Character acting like a Spy and participating in Covert Operations including Assassinating Hitler and Hirohito. I have already completed creating the first level need some more Graphical Excellence added into it.
i forgot how good the graphics were in this game. still love the cover system too, i wish every shooter was like that. not with the gimmicky third person see behind walls bullshit

One flaw with MOH:A Is that fact that your weapons were auto upgraded, meaning you couldn't change the scopes/Vertical grips and stuff...

Planning to do just that. One thing in Mind the Soldier will look like Channing tatum with a M4 pointed at Hitler.
That sounds boring. Using an M4 in a WW2 time period is boring and brings nothing new to the gameplay.

A faster Rate of fire isn't necessarily something gamers would be looking forward to.
