Im excited for them to release the book for the concept art! Maybe itll show whoever the villain was. It was a real missed opportunity to have tartar as a villain but its whatever ig. Great video as always!!
Thank you Sharky and yes I do hope we get an updated art book featuring all the original concept art and scrapped ideas for Side Order. It feels like more was supposed to happen in the DLC, especially when looking back and noticing a lot of unused aspects from the 1st teaser trailer.
@@The0fficialGigabyte That's what I was thinking as well. Maybe some of Tartar's data was unknowingly imported into the VR world and manifested itself into a new identity

Headcannon: After being whooped in Octo Expansion and having his company's data uploaded to the memverse, Tartar became smollusk once he got infused with the mem cakes essence Marina aquired
@@DecadoPrime for real- honestly the original concepts for Side Order were probably way better than the finished product and I'd love to see what we could have gotten especially from the original trailer looking so different. Plus, as one of THOSE Agent 4 fans, I'd love to see anything they might have considered for her or Parallel Canon because I'm still coping with how they did her role in the final version.

Yeah the others are cool. The Splatoon 3 art book is easily my favorite and I love how much concept art we got for Deep Cut, the original story, etc. I'm definitely expecting we'll see an art book for Side Order that we give everyone insight into the development process of the DLC. Who knows maybe we'll see some cut original characters and an early story
Tartar may only be an AI, but I don't think he's so stupid that he doesn't have a plan B in case the NILS Statue failed, I think it would have made more sense for Tartar to come back than to have a new villain, (or at least that the new villain was just a decoy to buy time and so Tartar would finish putting his plan into action)
True. Tartar had years of to plan out his strategy so it's not out of the realm of possibility that he may have cloned himself or at least back up his consciousness. While I do like Smollusk, I would be open to Tartar returning
Eh, I doubt it. I mean, we know Order was made using data gleaned from Tartars own systems. So its more plausible that Order is simply based on Tartar.

I CANNOT wait for an art book to be released... I have so many questions as to what SO was originally supposed to be and it could probably help a lot.
I hope we get one as well because I'd like to see what the development process was along with some of the original concept art
