Hey this is a good tutorial, I really like how you brought in the logic behind your synthesis. However, I would not recommend using that many voices, especially for something that might hit every 1/8th beat, as It'll eat up your cpu if you're doing some high bpm production. You saw the 808 used 6 oscillators. I'd stick to that many voices.Then again, high hats probably can be run in draft mode to no noticeable difference, so you might be able to get away with it.
