What a great adventure Mario. That was a tough journey, but one you will never forget. Thank you for bringing the deep Laos jungle to us with the help of the wonderful crew that you went with. So glad, that you managed to get the drone working to get some aerial footage.
Thanks Mark, glad you enjoyed it. Would've got more drone shots but the phone was still a bit wet and kept on restarting. Next time I'll be more prepared🙂
That was a crazy yet amazing trip into the Laotian jungle. Those Hmong people companions with you were simply good and sincere in making yourself comfortable as they know how.
I coukd felt how hard but the best thing never so easy to have it .. and when you really try best you will got it .. thanks Mario 🙏 thanks Travel On Toas and special thanks to those guys who brought you to show me beautifully of those hidden paradise 🙏❤️. So proud and I felt that I was there too
The series was amazing and it showcased the Hmong in so many positive ways. I don't think I could psychologically survive that adventure. Proud of you!!
Thanks Wolf! Luckily the bike only cost $5 to get it back on the road (the engine was just full of water). If more people like this kind of stuff then we'll surely be making more!
@@TravelsonToast most definitely Mario.. it’s not easy sustaining one’s system purely on protein and lack of any quantity of water but you roughed it out.. Kudos👍🙏🙏
Happy that everything went well for you overall Mario >>> no vomit from stream water drink, no stomach flu from jungle food (squirrels, rodents, birds, plants), your phone came back alive again to help give us bird’s eye view of jungle with drone, and that you had a wonderful experience with the cool tribal guys and returned home safely for all! Too bad your bike broke down but thankful that it at least got you to the jungle okay, and hope the burnt mark on your leg will recover well soon. Hope one day, we can see more adventures like this with you & Olivia together (if possible). Travels for Toast feels not complete (to me) w/out you & Olivia together like the Yin & Yang♥️👍😊
Thank you, I was surprised with my body as well and the bike only cost me $5 to get it running (it was only water in the engine). Next time I will try to be more prepared😅
Wow Mario. I can imagine the road trip out of that. Too bad for the bike but hey you made it out. That is a good short story for your jungle trip in Lao.
Next outing like this I bet you'll pack your own munchies. Jungle food is a great experience but you're system is in shock. Great series of videos man, thanks for sharing! :)
The main issue for me was dehydration. Out there you need more water than usually but there's less. I was just constantly thirsty, kept boiling up water😅
Hello Jungle Mario ! In which area , province=kveng, did you live this adventure ? You learned a lot from these Hmong guys and your good natural easy going spirit helped you, sure. Tanmo Breton
Wildlife preservation to prevent them from extinction such as owls and other creatures. Eat some is OKAY to survive, but preserve rare species. Fish are plenty to eat-common fish not the rare fish. Laos’ rainforest species are extinct everyday. If we don’t preserve rare species now in Laos, we will not have anything left in Laotian jungle ecosystems in years to come. Education is a key to local people too. Laos is such a bless country from God on earth with its natural resources, and other countries around the world have no fresh water to drink, dry lands, and desert lands, and no fresh water like Laos. Fresh water will be in high demand, fighting wars, mass migrations, and it is happening now in some parts of the world-no kidding and seriously to think about it! Think of the next generations of Laotian people.
As of right now I think China is a bigger threat to Laos! Yes, China is helping Laos but also destroying Laos in the same time. Laotian only hunt what they need to feed their families, but it’s the Chinese who buys the exotic animals such as pangolin.
@@ghostnsx8147 I totally agreed that the main threat to Laos is China and not the Lao peoples which included all the ethnics groups. It sadden to see that the Northern part of Lao become more and more Chinese and the Southern part of Laos- Vietnamese. Even Vientiane and Luangbrabang, most of the major hotels were recently acquired by Chinese and Vietnamese- it's soooo sad and my fear is that my Lao peoples will eventually become enslave to the Chinese and the Vietnamese within their own country/.
I understand where you're coming from but we also need to understand that some of these people don't have the privilege to go to the supermarket for food especially during times like these... We should be more worried about corporations cutting our natural forests, not the Hmong who lived there for generations.
As first generation Hmong American. We are privileged to be able to go to the store and buy food which is not feasible for these people. This might be a surprise but different cultures lives totally different lives. These animals they hunt live a lot better life then that poor chicken that cant stand up after 6 months due to genetic modifications. Any tribal people has co existed with animals for hundreds of years, using every part of the animal for human consumption and not wasting a bit, literally. The western world mindset isn't as glamorous as they tell you.
Nice adventure, i'ved been watching your videos with you guys, and Kent so amazing partner in your group. I love his catch and cook experienced, of course the man of the hour is so confident managing his team...supporting your channel..from Philippines..

Mario his name is not Marco 😂😂😂
I'm waiting to see your video on a forest journey today, are you going down?
👌👌
When did us Hmong people become tribal? 😆😆😆😆
❤❤❤
honda. seriously. nothing like an old cub.
You went alone to charge your battery... i would be worried about big cats being around. ?
I thought that at first as well but the guys told me they're scared of people nowadays although could be a different story if it was a child, maybe...
Man then boys can hunt
Hope they didn't take any endangered species.
From what I heard the conversation they have is not loas language is more like Vietnamese
It's Hmong.
Okay
Would love to be with you

They have been surviving off the land since mankind. The locals are not the problem.

Being out in "THE JUNGLE" helped you lose some weight.... .... .... ....
It definitely did at the time but as soon as I've got back in just hours got my usual weight back...
Sad they kill that bird
a hot shower,a good meal to recharge after the trip and a comfortable bed,is waiting for you at home, and of course olivia to,is waiting for you
🤗
Mario, I respect your love for nature but your ethnic friends are not so.. Please leave the wildlife alone and bring your own food.

Yeah, it looked like the amazon from national geographics.
