All the blueshirts wives were gowls
Why are the blueshirts so civilized towards the police
Dictator Jr Good question. The Blueshirts were part of the regime that established the Garda Siochanna as the national police force ..They ( Garda ) were recruited from former military who had served along side many Blueshirts during the Civil War . Ostensibly the Blueshirts were for promoting civil order . Neither the Guards or the Blues wanted conflict with each other as all had witnessed the bloody and acrimonious war of 22/ 23 and none liked the prospect of Irishmen killing each other again ..Hope this helps.
Thanks
they were established to protect the free staters from sinn fein
Same color shirts
cos they were not Antifa
Brilliant Blue Patriots
@William Quin at 55 or 56 in the video one of the F@scist c**ts was about to give a N@z1 salute and was edited out by Movitone, they were seen as " patriots" abroad in that country that prefers Mafia to run the Unions rather than Socialists representing poor workers.Tá súil agamsa nach bheadh a leithéid ann arís.
@@philbebbington1755 What is a nazi salute?
So brilliant they got run out of Spain ahah!
@@robsmithadventures1537The Republicans lost though.
@@cxarhomell5867 O'Duffy didn't win though. They were embarrassing fighters, the fascists in Spain didn't even want them,

up the blue shirts
My mother would at times have good chuckle to herself. When I asked her why she would say it was because her cousin had been a blue shirt. She said he had a 'thing' about dressing up, strutting about, and making stupid hand gestures. After the War (2nd) he turned up in England and made a fortune.
Needless to say he never told too many people about his past - he certainly wouldn't have ended as well off as he did. Unfortunately a fascist is fascist wherever they come from. Being both Irish, my mother and father considered him to be an embarrassment to the family.
More fools than knaves.
The fifteenth international brigade sorted out the blue coats fascists.🇮🇪💚
more of them were killed by friendly fire and disease than by the republicans
Who ? Never heard of them .Oh right, they were on the soundly beaten side.
@@conlaiarla I'm sure you haven't but just type it into YT you clown 🤡,,, also Christy Moore sings about it but you only listen to Tina turner or wet wet wet. Smh 💚🇮🇪💚
@@patrickmurray8304 They weren't republicans fs it was made up of different people from different places. They came together to defeat evil. 🇮🇪💚
Reminder: the International brigade and the grave desecrating communist guerillas of the Spanish Republican side were destroyed and lost. Also the blueshirts weren't fascists and the majority of them had no part whatsoever in the Spanish civil war
misguided fools......
More like educated and better led saviors.
As opposed to the socialist IRA? Please
