@@mareksindelarI wish. My mother emigrated to the U.S. in 1992, and she has been living here ever since. I was born and raised in the United States. And we don't have the funds to go back over there. My father grew up in Franconia, South-central Germany, 118 miles from Prague. He never actually visited Prague until he was about 72 and spent several days walking around with a backpack. He loved it.
Great video! Just want to say that Pablo Neruda was born in Chile, but used Neruda as his penname in honor of Jan Neruda. Who was indeed born in Prague. :)
Actually, blue colour represents Slovakia - before Czechoslovakia was established the flag looked like Polish...but after dissolution we kept the same flag.
I'm from the Philippines but I would love to travel and try to live somehow in the Czech Republic seems to be a fascinating country in Central Europe. ❤😊
Scary thing, there's only 3 damns that prevents most of Czechia from turning into a lake. Mostly around the Elbe River and including the capital Prague.

You mean those "slavic" commblocks invented in Denmark and using danish system Larsen-Nielsen? Yes, that's very soviet. 😀 BTW, your photos look like 20 years ago. 😀 What is funny is that when you go to Vienna, you will see that they build them even now, which is a surprise for people from former communist block.

4:32 if you mean the sound [ř] then it's a huge lie! This sound also have Hindi and an autochtone language in Brasilia. If sou speak about the "written form Ř", the Upper Sorbian language also posesses this letter.
@@Jan_Auinger that is a little bit different sound, since it is interchangeable with "ż". But Polish people are able to pronounce "ř" in a special case: in reduced positions on word endings like "wiatr", because they have to put it in a single syllable, since "R" doesn't suplement a vowel and hence doesn't build a separate syllable.
Fun fact Czech flag is blue red and white. Is because red. Rebosents the red blood of all esteem Europe’s people the blue represents the blue sky of Eastern Europe and the white represents the white milk of eastern Europe moms
ruclips.net/video/rBa4O5vsgRg/видео.htmlsi=_F4evrlmR2NT4fpX&t=502 Sorry, but this is nonsense: Pablo Neruda has nothing to do with the Czech Republic, he was born in Chile, only his last name is the same as the name of the Czech writer Jan Neruda, who is, however, completely unknown abroad. Otherwise, a nice summary video.
I must say that this is the best video about Czechia that is not czech, the food you pronounced so smoothly and actually put a " Miloša na jezeře" (Miloš Zeman on a lake), but you forget one thing and that is in Brno on Náměstí Svobody theres a black statue that looks like a big black d***.
It's so bad is that today's generation doesn't care at all. They think that the freedom we have is a given, that we must have it and that it is free. They don't realize that it wasn't that long ago that our ancestors fought, suffered and died for what we have today. That's really sad. But there are still many of us who remember and are grateful. I'm proud of my roots and grateful for what we have. 🫡 🙏
