Yoyo where the new redsigned YZ125 and YZ2fitty 2strokes at, yall dropn the ball on the most exciting bike changes of 2022 !!
Not at all 4strokes is the most exciting bikes
This dude throws a lot of shade at bikes. Don't think it's just the Yamaha.
Ya kinda like how he says star Yamaha runs air forks is wrong..
Title should read : KTM fanboy tries his best to put down a bike that he personally doesn't like. Been racing and riding since 1974 and have always enjoyed MXA but don't care too much for this guy. i always try to watch but always end up thinking what a dick this guy is by the end.
@@darknoise9 absolutely true.. other ppls platforms with test riders are saying all good things about the bike. One guy even said he don’t ride Yamaha but know after riding this one he’s really thinking on buying one. Plus he has already rode some of the other bikes! They also brought up how other ppl say the shrouds are so big and he and others said that’s a bunch of crap cause he rode the Honda and Kawasaki and there isn’t really much difference! He even said he took a tape measure as well and it shows there really isn’t much either! I think it’s an illusion cause ppl look at a square type air box with no fuel cap. Cause I rode last years after riding a Kawasaki and I did not feel any difference. We also know no one has a better motor, better suspension, better reliability and can’t tune their bike as you can a Yamaha! Which saves you a lot of money. Mine is bone stock with a tune and pulls way better than my friends with other manufacturer bikes that have done motor work like high compression piston and cams also aftermarket exhaust! That says a lot!
@@darknoise9 I think he does it with everybodies bike but maybe Im wrong. Either way he is way too negative about bikes which makes for a very negative and bad review to watch. You would think you are riding a 1918 harley at supercross aftwr listening to this guy speak.
I guess the Star Yamaha team's success boosted sales enough that Yamaha strayed from their path of a 4 year cycle on these 450s. Hopefully the next model sees a hydraulic clutch, lighter weight, better seat, redesigned airbox, and maybe even a real "factory edition bike" like honda, ktm, and husky. I still bleed blue tho and I'm excited for the revamped line of 2-strokes!
Hydraulics are overrated, cable IMO is much better. Also the weight is not really an issue I don’t see how people really complain about weight when a bike is as fast as this thing
😂 Honda’s so called race edition and regular have been nothing but a piece of crap. Ecu problems that never seem to get fixed. Power sucks to! As of weight on the Yamaha star Yamaha shaved 10 pounds off of AP and Ferrandis bike. So hopefully Yamaha takes that to 2023. As for A hydraulic clutch who cares you have a better feel with cable. Too many guys turning to prissy guys complaining about kicking a 2 stroke now and cable clutch!😂
@@bradymxr4659 Yamaha won’t add titanium parts to stock unfortunately
If a hydrolic clutch was better and more reliable. Then yes they will... Maybe. If air shocks were as good as KYB/SSS then yes, maybe air someday. But for now. WHY?
I so glad made my purchase that much better 😜
YZ450F is a nice bike! When are the 2022 YZ125 and YZ250 gonna get tested?
Yeah we want all the SMOKE!!
I wouldn’t listen to their review go elsewhere after listening to his crap. I read their column too. They put this bike down so much over some really stupid crap. They said save $200 and don’t buy the ugly monster graphics bike. Then saying how stupid it is to tune the bike. When all in all it saves ppl money with aftermarket parts for more horsepower. Plus the fact some ppl like just a little less power! It’s a cool feature that they have had for quite awhile and have been a head of the competition. Plus Keffer and Pingree said ppl need to stop with how wide it is when they measured it compared to Kawasaki and Honda and said there is no difference. It’s like a visual thing cause there is no gas cap and you’re looking at a flat square piece.
forks are a personal preference: spring, air, hybrid, whatever man- run what you like!
i owned a yz450f for 2 years and never had an issue with the air filter, had to clean it atleast a quater of rhe time as my mate with a honda. . . not sure what these guys are up to
Same here, the forward-mounted intake attracts much, much less dirt than my conventional dirt bikes. At least they didn't complain about the airbox noise in this video.
@@33barranch Thankyou!! where have you been?! haha i cant stand when they comolain about that, one of the best parts of motocross is the sound, and that induction noise, thats the stuff
They are Yamaha haters
Currently have a YZ450 and I have no problem with the air filter. Never understood the "noise" complaint either. Stays pretty clean up there on top of the tank area. Its fast as F too.
@@TwinTurboLsx yep mine doesn’t make any noise either. A friend of mine rode mine after jumping off his Kawasaki and never said anything about hearing air. Also now after riding my bike and he rode another yz450 he wants one!! He loves the suspension on mine which is still stock vs his has work done, loves the power of the yz which is stock with a tune his has high compression piston and different cams and exhaust.. also he is 6’2 and said the rider triangle doesn’t feel all that different from his bike. He said the yz is just all around better to him even corners it sticks better.
Picking up my 2022 yx450f in the morning. It's August 2024 found a place selling old new inventory bike has zero kilometers on it. Saved a ton of money getting a new "older" bike
Good episode. I’m a Jett fan, but your boy was super fast too. Very impressive.
Dude the last time I talked to one of star Yamaha mechanics which a friend of mine went to school with they do not run air forks! Also quit whining about the shrouds!! I rode a Kawasaki and Yamaha back to back and really is no difference!! Take a tape measure and it will tell you the same thing. It might be an image thing cause of the air box being right there. Then you say it’s easy to ride for all levels then contradict yourself by saying some of the testers had a hard time riding the bike!! 😂🙄🤣
If they could make it where you can adjust the footpeg height, this bike would be awesome.
no Adapter or anything? im 6.3 and think about getting the 22 ... would be mad if i cant find any
Hasn’t changed much to the non pro buyer since 2018
Does it have low RPM powerband? I like low range torque and power since I won't be riding the bikes fast but I like the torque at low end which is more fun than going fast
U can tune it with ur phone
Love my FX!
Good job, great review
Great video guys
You should compare the power to other 2022 models... but I enjoy your videos. Thank you.
Yamis still out front on them holeshots
@@joenobody2580 Sometimes, but lately, in the 450 class, Roczen has been waxing them to the first turn on his Honda (and doing well to the checkered, as well). 😁
When is the 2022 yz 125
All I could say is "Awesome"
Newbie doubt: can you set a yzf 450 to run less aggressive like a yzf 250 via wifi/app ecu tunning? Thanks
yes you can make it less aggressive but it will always be more aggressive than a yzf250
I WANT THAT
Yamaha need to borrow a bit of that magic dust Star Racing sprinkles on their race bikes
👏
What tire pressure’s do you run in those conditions?
In mine and my friends we run 12 to 13
Shame about the welds but nice bike
Review the two stroke 250s boys the Yamaha is old news.
Yamaha yz 450F
I need a yz 125 chammer
is there no kick start
Correct
wow, those frame welds look like absolute shit.
Wy talk about others bike's??!????
BRICHISH-- Swedish, XPJN! = British? BR=very cold, AYE this, place! AYE! said, this man. Wrong country!
First
Yamaha is going to be the next Suzuki they are going to ride out this design as long as possible the handling is terrible and it feels huge & heavy
The next Suzuki?! 🤣 Yamaha is light years ahead of Suzuki! KTM fan boy alert
Its always obvious who doesnt actually have any experience on these bikes. These bikes are DEF not the next Suzuki.
This bike is dog end. Also them welds are done by a 12 year old blind folded. Shocking bike
