I actually have a medical question to ask you to be honest I had about a 23 foot fall, landed on my arms and the upper portion of my body I had to have a cranioplasty and used a leg brace for 6 to 8 weeks, had metal implants in my leg and forehead and a slight fracture in my right arm, 45 staples and many stitches later im on the road to recovery and I've rested alot watched tons of your videos and been taking it easy, I recently had a 4 hour drive to visit family and I woke up with horrendous rib pain I have a feeling its just bruising or maybe a crack ribbed but would there be any reason why I wouldn't feel it before and I woke up in agony today

My twinbrother does that for his work (paramedic) as we were watching this game (Finns). Both were shouting for the defibrillator to the pitch as he collapsed.
Kjaer is a Captain for his CPR. And the Professionals who saved his life.
There´s so much lack of knowledge how to restart a heartbeat. It allways needs a electric-shock from a def. The manual pumping is just to keep the blood flowing and keeping the neurological damage as minimum as possible.

As a Danish football fan, who loves our no.10. I am extremely grateful. Not only to everyone helping Eriksen, both on the pitch and afterwards. But also to the Finnish team and fans. The players quickly called for the medics, as I saw it. And both they and their fans showed extreme grace, respect and empathy during this whole ordeal.
Not sure if there was any thought behind it, but seeing the Finnish flag being used to keep praying eyes and cameras away, as he was carried out. Made me happy. It was a great symbol for the respect I saw on display from the Finnish today.

For lay rescuers chest compressions should virtually always be prioritized over mouth to mouth in presumed cardiac arrest. There are mountains of research showing it’s the better way. And stop trying to pull peoples tongues out of their mouths, it’s a complete waste of time. People do not swallow their tongues when they arrest. Matter of fact pulling the jaw down and sticking your hand in the mouth can obstruct any breathing effort they may still have in some situations.
These are not just my recommendations, they’re from the American heart association which studies tens of thousands of rescue attempts and their outcomes, as well as the European resuscitation council and virtually every major medical text on airway management published in the past century.

So thankful he is awake and stabilized. Great job from his medical team and his teammates.
Years ago, when I was 19... in the morning on the bus to work I was across from an older big man who ended up having a heart attack right across from me. I remember the bus driver calling to him because they were talking and he just stopped. When I looked up his eyes were budging and rolling up into the back of his head, I went over and he had no pulse and I heard his last breath escape as his tongue jutted out of his mouth. It was a horrific scene. We could not bring him back, paramedics came and could not save him and told us his heart pretty much exploded there was nothing anyone could have done. He was quite an obese man, who had ran to the bus before sitting down right away instead of letting his pulse come down while walking around... I went to his eulogy at the school he worked for, just a year from retirement. His family thanked me for being there since he lived alone and if that happened at home it would be longer to find him. And before that happened on that day I had the audacity to think I was the one having a bad day. RIP Dennis. Scariest thing I ever experienced that still stays with me a decade later as I turn 29 this year... People are shook just to have seen a bit of it on camera, it's so much more intense being there in the thick of it... and his teammates and medical staff handled it very well. I am glad this young man survived this and his life was saved.

Hello from Finland. Yes, that was heartwarming, we are very proud of our supporters here as well. I truly hope they won't get too rowdy while celebrating the victory there in Copenhagen... Was actually hoping that Denmark would score a goal and the match would have ended 1-1, but I am proud of our players for getting that win, sorry ☺️ I really hope you can beat Belgium and Russia in your next two matches and win for Christian! I'll be rooting for you guys as well now. Very happy and grateful that Christian survived, that was obviously the greatest victory by far tonight 🙌

The scariest things for me were that first of all, his eyes were open when he collapsed so you could see the emptiness in his eyes, secondly seeing the cpr started just before the broadcasters cut away (they cut away in Denmark), and thirdly, before we were told that he was awake and stable we were told that the ambulance wasn’t rushing and wasn’t using its sirens which can mean two things, either he’s dead already or he’s alive, but since there was no info at the time I at least assumed that it was because he was dead

I agree. And the danish commentators made it sound like they had covered him with white blankets which also normally means bad news. But it wasnt like that. They just held them up for privacy from the media.
I am so happy he is stable now.

Can you do a quick check on Mateu Morey ( a football player from Borussia Dortmund) injury. Its about a month old but looked very devistating he had like 2 surgerys 1 on his inmner ligament + knee capsule and another one on his ACL

Fuc k you about being so glad he's better. Does anyone ask why these days? Why did this happen?
The most likely possibility comes from the fact that he may have taken this vaccine.

    Great explanation.
CPR saves lives when performed immediately and effectively by trained professionals. This man is lucky to be alive and because of the fast actions of the medical team there, will likely have no Neurologic sequelae as a consequence of his arrest.
