Side note here. The thursar intelligence I ment was. When you have a higher int stat it was possible to detect a theft when someone is in your pockets a little bit easier sometimes. The game you sometimes a message.
What I loved most during my 1 month on Mortal Online 1 was the ability to steal from people, it was so much fun, and the videos of the thieves on the net are also fantastic. I'd love to see the stealing mechanic back on MO2, and there are so many rich people on mo2 that it would be indescent not to be able to steal from them.
Very cool video. The arena could be a place like an instanced battle match, like CS or Dark and Darker. U can enter solo and goes to a random team or enter as a closed team. The melees get an standart gear (u can choose your weapon) and the mages could play without reagents, just for the real pvp. That would be awesome
@@WolfszeitYT Should we cancel Magic in the game because its a hassle to keep throwing up magic reflect??? It's all risk vs reward, if you are lazy to do something you are taking on more risk... Carrying an extra bag with 1000 water in it to protect a house or stronghold deed is super cheap insurance to make sure you don't lose that deed to a thief...
It's a cool game concept, and I've played this game for a few months. I mostly enjoyed talking with people, but I have to say, it's a dead game now. The online peak has dropped below 1k, and it's no surprise why. Everything is just so poorly made, with no actual effort put into it. You might say, "Well, there are nice graphics, and you can ride pigs in the game and stuff," but when you consider the development time versus what's actually in the game, you'd ask yourself: why is it taking so long to create the few interesting features it has? For perspective, it took them two years to implement quests that could have been done by a coder in half a month. I was really disappointed when the TC update came out. I was planning to build modular houses, but the nonsense we were given felt like a slap in the face. I believe most of the people who still play this game are just friends who enjoy roaming together, and I respect that-I hope they have fun. For anyone new, though, I would recommend ignoring this game.
yes its worth it. There will be a patch the next weeks that will rise the population again. Alot of people always saying the game is dying but im hearing the same shit since 14 years and no its not dying. there where far worse years than this XD its worth it but its also very very niche and complex I highly recommend that you search a guild and learn the game before you headstart out because this will often lead to frustration if you starting out solo.
The population is totally fine. Need to remember that everyone is on the same server so even with 2-3000 players, it feels quite populated. Especially around cities. You still see people in the wilderness but not so many that it feels silly.
for me same. But they have proven that they take only the good stuff form the first game and when they will implement it i guess it will not be so shitty as described atleast that is what im hoping. xD
I have no problem deleting mmorpg characters, i did this very often xd Star citizien and pax dei 1.0 for 2026+ on my list. For all now guild heraldry and relics! For me now learning fighting and theb new combat guild with guild tabards.
Sarducaa has been the paradise for lockpickers because of 2-pin-chests all over the continent. And even rare 6-7 pin chests with a reset once per week and, if not opened for long time, filled with good amount of gold or rare books or whatever.
This game no longer holds the name Mortal Online, Its called Pokemon 2. And a sidenote on the thivery, the game caters alot too griefers. And you wonder why the community is so small. For an example, why dont we have a daily quest for bounty hunting hunting the "bad guys". Bounty rewards are a joke. Game caters alot to the zergers and the griefers sadly.
Mo2 is mostly loot not full loot. You dont drop trinkets anymore. Even MO1 you could drop uncharged trinkets. Thievery was broken as shit. Naked veelas fondling balls everywhere. Lock picking was good. Sarducca would he nice only if it is a hosted in NA server. The population is shit but its only going down right now. At this rate by 2026 400 players will be the peak. Easy fix for thievery was put a bag in your inventory and put 2kg worth of stuff in it. It cant be stollen.
The thievery system has been interesting and only noobs lost materials. Because of a weight system: A thief can look into the inventory (if not seen by other players or guards) and take stuff out of the inventory, but only something like 1-2 kg. So you could lose a book. But not from bags, because a thief can't look into a bag. Just put some 100 water into the bag and no thief would be able to get that bag.
yeah youre right. If you look deeper to the Problem often was new player didnt knew that if they haven't found a guild often thought they cant protect themselves and than they were pissed. On the other hand with the bags made it safe all the time worked btu than why having a thievery system in the first place and by the the thievery system nearly changed each year so there were even times where the 5kg limit wasn't there and many other shit that was just stupid.
Cool Stuff??? like them Removing the monthly sub ? man I was so excited to get this game and it was almost everything i wanted in a game but the monthly sub removed me and keeps any of my friends in joining as well

I like these types of videos, keep them coming

Thievery could be countered if you put important things into other bags with something heavy in them, but you had to take the initiative to do it.
I know and it was a hasle and unnessary stuff players had todo all the time xD

great vid
How does the game feel population wise I just started and I am in haven just wondering if it is worth continuing and trying to get into

When thievery comes out like this. I will will instantly delete my characters. Promised.

There was a counter to thievery that he did not talk about that I posted, take a look
Where? Havent found your post. Whats good beside high int and having stacks of water or cuprum coins in inventory?

Henrik want also assassination xd
dont even get me started on this one xD ahahah
whats with the mo1 throwbacks? (genuine question)
longing for something that once was with something that's been out for 3 years now and still doesn't have Is my guess...
PICKPOCKET = GRIEFING
You could counter be stolen from if you took the proper precautions, see post above/below where ever it got thrown...
Tindrem looked So Much Better. Its not even comparable.
Also i would bet real money on that the first minths of thievery update will be a shitshow.

The thievery system sounds dumb and bad and will ruin towns.

Speznat, your words about thievery are simply not true because of the weight limit and the bags.
100% correct, I made a post above pointing that out.
