@@Art_Codex No. It's not just because it reminds her of Zack. Nomura already said why she dislikes the sky in an interview. It's because it symbolizes sadness/death for her due to when a person dies they return to the sky & also because Jenova, who killed most of the Ancients, came from the sky.

This song and the “Hollow skies” version in the remake are emotional as FUCK. Makes me want to cry.
When i finished the game at 100% and this music hits I was so sad cause i gotta say goodbye for a while. But 120h worth it. A true masterpiece. Characters were sooo good it was unbelievable.
You can just feel that passion when he hit that hit note.
IDC what purists say FF7R was magnificent and i enjoyed every second getting that platinum trophy. The next game wont be the same as the original and thats a good thing we have no idea what will happen! new memories can be made and the original is still a all time classic.

This song is confirmed to be from Cloud point of view. The lyric remind me of Aerith & Zack but ultimately i think it is Aerith.

@@lafranhudo At first i also thought like that but upon hearing it multiple time, i came to the conclusion it was regarding aerith. Here is my reason.
1. The song appear to have romantic vibe such as "would you be here in my embrace".
2. "Heal every wound" - aerith is a healer.
3. "Guide me to you" - cloud want to find the promise land to see aerith in ff7 og ending.
4. "With your every smile, hiding something more" Aerith is more secretive person than Zack.
In my perspective, this song is about og cloud feeling toward aerith and how he want to save her. Ff7r is his last chance.

I like the song!, it´s the ending song of Final Fantasy VII Remake. I have the game but I just start to playing it, just the beggining. It´s also the first time that I´m playing a game of Final Fantasy series, I´m playing it on a PS4 Pro But I have Little time and I am AFK, I am away from the TV and The PlayStation 4 Pro, but really want top play this game. It´s a cool cover of the credits scene of Final fantasy VII Remake.

In lyrics, it indicates, "This time I won't let you go." FF7 remake is to re-create the different destiny, so this time Cloud, Aerith, Tifa and Barret will create a different fate.

That would be nice if they do change the destiny so Aerith can survive. It's been a long time since I played the original, but I don't remember Wedge living past the plate crashing or Barret getting stabbed like that, so maybe there will be more changes in the rest of the remake.
I guees they will changing all fates of characters most importantly Zack and Aerith.
Now im looking forward what will happened another movie of AC(REMAKE) but the original is still stands out 💛
AMY HOARD the part about Berret getting stab, is obviously someone was interving in fate (septhiroth), considering the whispers saved berret. (They wouldn’t of saved him, if he wasn’t fated to die at that time, later they try to kill wedge by throwing him into the elevator, but we dont see the outcome)
