Growing up, I was busy with other things and didn't pay any particular attention to Queen or other bands. However, recently I watched an episode on the Biography channel titled Queen - Days of our Lives which was really very interesting - it is great learning about them and rediscovering all their great music. Some of my favorites are Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, Radio Ga Ga and Somebody to Love.
I respect Lady Gaga as an artist, because she knows what real music is. If there is a band, musician, or singer in out generation today, who for serious, knows the real music from the past generation, and can convey their passion in their music, i respect. Gaga is just that.
Queen made me feel like i could fly!. Seriously, this was the first song i heard in my life, i remember being in the cradle, because of the terrific ending solo.
If you want to watch a video clip that will make the hair on your arms stand on in, watch Queen's performance at the Live Aid concert in 1985(?) at Wembley Stadium. They received the loudest cheers and the audience participation was amazing to this song - it is truly incredible. Great song and even more amazing band!!
