I think we need to give Britt a round of applause. She’s in an incredibly difficult position, because fans of the band will always miss Jan tremendously. But she’s doing a great job playing, and obviously loves being on stage with these ladies. Nobody could ever replace Jan, but Britt’s the perfect musician to move forward with. Ultimately, people seeing Vixen live may be hearing them for the first time (it does happen). If Britt’s excellent playing encourages just a couple of people to check out the first two albums, and hears Jan’s playing, then her memory is being honored in the best way possible. It is possible to honor the past and yet move forward. These ladies have a lot of great music left in them, and it’s encouraging that they’re wanting to play (and record) for their fans.
The loss of jan was heartbreaking and i think roxy is one of the best drummers ive ever heard and looked at. Im 56 and warrant and vixen are still 2 of my favorite bands.RIP JAN.

It was nice of Jan to finally bury the hatchet with the band before she died, with all the legal problems they went through. It feels like this band has Jan's stamp on it, so it feels like she is still there with them.
Wondering what year was the bands reunited show on TV. And have they kept playing ever since. Or do one off shows here and there. Roxy's drum set back in the day was way cool,with the Chopper forks and wheel coming out in between the Bass Drums.👍

At first-gen had JB player guitars and then she went to BC Rich with the coolest Graphics the white one with the cat face so sweet. The American-made BC Rich is a I con of the 80s metal. eta.

The final battle was between them and my friends band Tinted Image, later they renamed themselves Sheivade. She still hates me for voting for Vixen and sending them off to their recording contract. Oh well.
I assume the recording quality is at best "so so", but I don't think I exagerated (once again) when I claim the singer isn't really up to the task. She's relaxed on stage, clearly having fun, but that is not enough. The original song was sung very high pitched. My guess is, it takes a younger singer to reach these. Ian Gillan of Deep Purple too can't reproduce Child in time as he performed it in the 1970's, and I don't know if the German Doro (Pesch) still rules the ruins as she did in the 1980's.
Your comment is weird, she's the original singer on stage singing her own song live, that's what people came to the gig for, that's why the audience are not disappointed by her naturally aged voice.
this is what bands sound like live w/o any autotune and effects. Not too great. They sounded great on the records but they were young and had plenty of time to get them sounding good.
