HELLYEA! despite the loss, Vixen has moved on and become better and hotter than ever, revamping, reinventing and promo/touring again and stronger than ever! This is awesome!!! Kudos Vixen! Quand j' ai acheté leur premier album je me suis dit " encore un groupe de Hard FM " mais j' ai vraiment compris en écoutant que ces filles avaient un talent fou ! Ce sont de vraies Hard Rockeuses !!! Malheureusement Jan nous a "quitté" et j'ai été très ému ...... elle était excellente ! Qu' elle repose en paix .......
J'ai toujours trouvé leur niveau technique tout à fait satisfaisant, par contre au niveau des compos, il manquait toujours un petit quelque chose, surtout compte tenu de la concurrence impitoyable sur ce créneau dans ces années-là. À leur décharge, leur label les empêchait de composer librement et leur a toujours imposé des co-compositeurs pas toujours très inspirés (Jeff Paris, etc.). Malgré les absentes, voilà un groupe que j'espère vivement voir un jour, quand même…

Strangely, I'm not into metal at all...but there's something about Vixen that I could never resist! I was crushed to hear about Jan's passing in 2013 - but I know she would be proud that the band she started is still rocking...HARD!
Janet Gardner is still unbelievably hot after all these years!!! She may have gotten older, but she certainly has grown into age well. She's still incredibly gorgeous and her voice hasn't changed a bit! It's obvious they'll never be the same without Janice Kuehnemund who was undeniably my favourite Vixen member, but I will admit this new lead guitarist they have is still very talented and plays her leads in a fantastic way! Unlike most glam/metal bands from the 80s these guys still have their long hair! I'm now interested in going and reading a bit more about what they have been up to and how much they are actually playing these days.

I prefer Gina's guitar playing over her replacement, Britt. Gina also came across as very humble while being interviewed. Very crisp, clear guitar sound on par with the guys.
+Ruhal Foyls Yep, a shame maybe..but they played Ahoy Rotterdam as opener for Scorpions!! And I was there :-) Good to see them perform, however the setting is miserable. The songs stood the test of time, Roxy and Share keeping that pumping rythm, Janet's voice (that did't change indeed!) and while we all miss Jan, that guitar of Gina is screamin'! \m/ Vixen, come to Europe, please!!
