Hello,Roxy - I was privileged to see Vixen open for Ozzy at Portland,ME Civic Center around 1990.What a wonderful set you ladies turned in,including the drums/bass break that led into Share's extended solo, which brought down the house! Was unaware of this 'former members' effort til now....thank you for posting video of it. Hope to hear you live again sometime,with Janet and whoever else you're playing with. I believe the band started as "Lemon Pepper" then morphed into "Genesis" and then "Vixen" with the drummer actually being Laurie Hedlund as seen in the movie Hardbodies (with carrot top). Laurie actually had somg songwriter creds in that.

They have Maxine playing bass.Doesn't anyone realize that Maxine is a kick ass Lead Guitarist? Roxy and Maxine are the Eddie and Alex Van Halen of the music world.Roxy is an awesome drummer.
Roxy and her sister are doing a lot together.. good music too... Janet is elusive as ever but pops up on here from time to time. I think i read on Roxy's website that her and Janet were or are working together again. Jan's Vixen is still going... and as far as i know they still play live shows, i bought Live And Learn its not bad... but im a purist.. its not Vixen without Janet And Roxy. Hope that helps some:)

This was a lot of fun to watch - great version of the band. I remember Creem Magazine did an article on the Petrucci sisters' earlier band Madam X. Rolling Stone does those polls on Facebook, and for one they did for best drummer (I think John Bonham had the most votes), I voted for Roxy, Eric Carr, Cindy Blackman, Don Brewer.
Love Janet Gardner & Roxy, but were they thinking , to try and go on without the original members. It just doesnt work. Its rare to get four uniquie individuals that come together and make something special. Happens all the time. I guess its easier to see from the outside lookin in, than being in the band where you think if this line up works so will others, because I'm the star singer. Big mistake.......
This version of Vixen was the best. Gina is a far better guitar player than Jan. And Janet is the core of VIXEN. Too bad Jan killed this version with legal challanges. Total BS.
