Orbit spray nozzles are cheaply made and cost about seven dollars at Amazon Home Depot and Lowe’s. Every once in a while the O-ring will slip out of place and you can easily fix it by undoing the screw removing the selector and re-fitting the O-ring into its original position.
These orbit nozzles are the main player in the hose industry. There's not many to choose from when going to home depot, lowes or other hardware stores. Orbit spray nozzles are made in china so repairing them is often not practical, in addition orbit does not offer the o-ring mentioned in this video

I pushed that O-ring back in and it came back out again. I dried it out and put "Shoe Goo" glue around the side of the O-ring, pushed it back in and let it sit two days. I tried it again and it worked properly with no leaks. That was just one use so I hope the Shoe Goo holds. The package says it's waterproof. The glue is clear.
It will work better if you also put a washer on the screw so you can tighten the cap a little bit more after you put the O-ring back into the nozzle.

Looks like the o ring is still leaking and it can't be replaced since it's not an ordinary o ring you can purchase. Maybe someday someone will manufacture a nozzle that lasts more than one season!
I liked when it work. I have very little nice things that bring me joy and with inflation absolutely going insane, i want it working
I've had this nozzle for the past 2 years. They either leak or won't shut all the way off. They seem to only last one season. Orbit makes a PRO model similar to this but it doesn't have mist. It only has 5 patterns. You get flat, full, cone, jet, and shower. If you don't need other settings, this nozzle should last much longer.

Thanks! For those that have a little different Orbit 7 sprayer - everything looks the same until you remove the screw and open it up- black on the inside not white. The center part is longer and my o-ring didn’t go in the center, i tried it that way, and it was still spraying wrong - it went into the small circle where the water comes out. Not sure if mine is older or newer than yours. Got it at Costco, I think 2 or 3 years ago, I’m not sure how old mine is.

Huh? It's still leaking. Anyway, mine won't shut off completely. 1 year old and it leaks in the off position. Chinese crap from Costco.

Yes, but it is still leaking around the dial. Mine does also new out of the box.
