Just like you mentioned the presence of front at sub polar low due to coming of two contrast air masses, we know that this gives rise to the Jet stream above that. In same manner I am confused with sub tropical jet stream because I am unable to Visualise the two fronts at sub tropical high pressure belt. Please, it would be of great help if you can clarify this doubt. Thank you.
Or is it right to say that the cold polar air mass reaches to the southern extent of mid latitude cell and then the two fronts meet?
Air from Ferrell and Hadley cells meet while subsiding over subtropics... please watch the video again...it's explained...best wishes
