Gulf Savannah Soil Extension Project

Our Soil Extension project has been working with grazing, broadacre and horticulture properties in our region to build soil health through sustainable practices.
The project has helped landowners interpret soil test results and assess characteristics like texture and water holding capacity, to improve their understanding of how soil type can impact on productivity.
This project is supported by Gulf Savannah NRM, through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
