If one believes that Russian casualties are 1200 a day, 12000 Korean soldiers would cover the losses of just ten days. In my opinion, the story doesn't make much sense.
If there are NK troops on their way, they will be employed in Kursk and border regions as a defensive force. Seriously doubt they will set foot in Ukraine.
