So all you needed to do was put in your phone number, confirm it, and then the payment would just be added to the phone bill. I didn’t think it was a big deal because it was just like a few bucks here and there so nobody would notice anything, right? The problem was that all these “small” purchases piled up and all of a sudden one month there was like $200 extra on the phone bill which nobody knew where it came from. My mom asked me if I knew what had happened and I lied and said I had no idea. I was expecting my mom to see through the lie but she totally bought it and defended me against her boyfriend who was sure I must’ve bought stuff online for that money. My mom contacted our phone company and tried to investigate what happened to that money, they obviously said it was we who had spent it. Yet my mom still believed me and got into a big argument with her boyfriend (who paid the phone bill) because she insisted that “I wouldn’t lie about something like that”. They ended up just paying it and moving on.
No, but everyone talking about the switch in the voice over, but that shit is accurate. I talk like this
I love how I came up with the same response instantly
Teacher: “What’s the major differences between the book and the movie? 😏”
Me: “the book is on paper, the movie is on a screen 🤯”
OK, but I watched three 15-minute book reviews on a book - one positive, one negative, one neutral. I got the highest grade in the class and was praised for being very objective in my review.
Teacher knew, was not paid enough to care THAT much.
