I’m looking forward to the first 30-40 degree day when you and kev have the rhythm down and really see this thing scream. Stay warm up there in the great state of Maine, been brisk up here in the northeast
No splitter or wedge system is perfect, but looks like it’s doing a great job making quick work of (almost) everything you can put through it!! Is your conveyor homemade, or modified? Looks like it works well & I’ll need one at some point!
What you sell for $5 I sell (in bags) for $10 or 3 for $ 25. But damn 2-4 cords of rack wood a week is insane! I’m surprised folks up North just don’t buy full cords from you. BTW, that splitter is INSANE.
It not that hard to find the limits of a splitter with 6 way. I split 95 percent my wood with 4 way. She definitely pump out the wood. Keep up the good work stay warm.
Man that thing looked cold! That wedge swap is awesome! No need to run above half throttle unless there’s a competition! Finally found stage 2. I wonder if that would’ve stopped it if warmer? Send it my way I’ll test her. Not bad for 15 minutes of splitting!
I keep a chain on my splitter. I wrap it around stuck pieces and use the ram to pull it back!! Poor Kevin!! Going to work him to death with that fast machine!! Lol 😆

Interesting machine I like the power and the speed the only thing I dislike is that you have a bottle neck effect at the wedge, if you could do a minor change not to bottle neck where your splits and the splits could fall directly on the conveyor I'm sure you'll increase your speed more.
@@bendugas8632 yes you are correct. I like a bit of a table so resplits can be pulled back if needed but falling off directly behind the wedge like a processor would certainly eliminate this issue.

@@WilleysFirewood any concerns with cooking the oil nearest the heater as it is not circulating or does the heater itself not get above a few hundred degrees? similar issues have been noted using magnetic heaters on vehicle oil pans which have smaller volume so similar application but different at the same time.
I don’t want to strike a nerve with anyone, but Kevin needs a raise. Some of those rounds were bigger than him. Dude even had to take his hat off. I’ve never seen that before. Also, it seems like you were really cranking with the 4-way and not so much with the six. IMHO
You are going to have to put the wood closer to the splitter. I am afraid if you do not, you will have to duct tape Kevin to a chair and then force feed him pasta! If that thing was any faster you would have to have an operators license to use it. Be careful of your digits. Have a great day.
