Best way to deal with that is to add a reference of the source from where you are taking images from... if images are not available for free then you might need to buy them and show that purchase order somewhere in your document.. sometimes you would need copyright permission from the source before you can take their images
Nice work ! Good motivation to do something like this on my own. Also, I guess it is ctrl+shift not alt+shift to make a copy of shapes.

How did you use this file later in MS Word.. As your both the images will be saved in single.ppt format
As for me, I will select all, right hand click and save as picture
