I live on a dirt road too.... and have maintained it for 24 years. I know what its like to jump in your own equipment, using your own fuel and time, only to have awkward interactions with people on the street! Some have helped or contributed, some havent. Either way, you taking the time makes you one of the good guys!

I enjoy your videos, and in regards to the old truck not shifting smoothly (Ha!), perhaps if you could spray lubricant everywhere on the linkage, that may make shifting very happy.
Where I live the driveway was originally laid out by my dad. It had to go over just shy of an eighth of a mile of boggy ground so he put down heavy rock, followed by coarse gravel. It did OK until we got a neighbour who shared the drive. All we ever needed was a fresh load of gravel and level it out. Our neighbour gets a ripper, starts popping out the base rock and now the drive is full of potholes.

Ryno,there is a float option on your bucket slam the hydro handle all the way done you will feel the detent. This allows the bucket to float.
Everybody drives on our road when it rains. However, they never volunteer to bring any DG to fill in the ruts they make.

You need to add some hard-pack dirt to your dirt as it will prevent the road washing out. Just letting you know what I do and never had issues.

You should get a case Minotaur if your looking for a skid steer cause it’s a dozer as well and would work great for the road and other projects very versatile

I think you should check out one of the Holley EFI kits for the old F600 they would make that truck like new (as far as the engine goes at least lol)
But really you should throw that bed and cab on to a 4×4 dodge 3500 / 4500 / 5500 cummins chassis. that would be awsome because then you still have the nostalgia of the truck but it would run drive and haul like a modern truck and even a 2001 5.9 cummins would have way more power and it's Frame would be alot stronger than the old F600

Grab a bucket of dirt when you start box blading. That way if you're running low on material in the box blade, you can dump some in front of you.
Fab up a drag to final groom the stuff that gets dumped. Like a 8x6 with a crown in the center just to groom what you roughly spread. Won't be rigid like the box blade so It won't thin out what you put down.

You should invest in a transfer tank like eddie has or a 50 gallon tank that sits somewhere on your property and you have someone come to fill it up
Not to give you another piece of equipment to buy, but I feel like that road really needs a roller to adequately repair some of those washouts. Without compaction, that sand is gonna immediately wash away as well as be pushed out of the holes just through use. Seems like there might need to be a culvert or something put in further up as well to stop the water from washing down the road in the first place.
you need to find a good batwing mower, otherwise you will be taking forever mowing the ranch

Need clutch work? Synchro problem.
That noise is due to air in the hydraulic fluid system. You probably have a small leak letting air in and when the cylinder extends, it gets more air into the system. Top it off and you shouldn’t have an issue.
